Again, the amount of EXP you get is roughly equivalent to a beast tribe daily so it only takes about 15 FATEs to level up, say 61 to 62, whereas it takes 3-4 runs of ghost ship if you don't have rest exp. You're vastly underrating the amount of EXP that FATEs and the fact that people don't do them normally is can be circumvented by just asking people to do them with you.

They're not. Void is a zero state of non-existence. Rift is a between-dimension.

Midgardsormr is actually the recurring Shinryu though, and Omega witnessed other FF worlds. Plus we canonically met Noctis, Lightning, Shantotto, and Iroha. Iroha even permanently moved to Eorzea after the ending of FFXI.
