Not much h8 from their remaining fan base, but Gamigo has heavily monetized and mismanaged almost every other game they've ever run. They almost ruined Bless Online even more than it already was at launch. And while I'm not entirely certain? I think they bought the remains of Trion so there is no reason to believe the developers will be much different. Gamigo currently promises no P2W but how many Archeage relaunches have we had that promised the same? The game is relaunching as Buy-to-play and nothing like labor potions or tax certs on the market at first, but there is no guarantee it will remain this way.
I do not trust them and I'm not going to get suckered in again. The damage is done.

There are still going to be lots of microtransactions, just nothing that gives players an advantage supposedly. No word on whether the cosmetics can be resold for gold or whatever.

Gamigo has a terrible reputation and 25 bucks is a bit steep to just try it. Problem is if you wait just a few days to see what people say all of the land will be gone. I'm not sure if I'll be bothering.

Yes, AA alpha and beta was fucking amazing, but that was not the live game and not what we're talking about. Post launch it was a very shitty experience the longer it went on.

I give em two weeks before labor pots are on the store. Im gonna wait a few montha and see. Original game was great. Having a hidden ginsing farm up in the mountains was nice. But the game is built from the ground up like a mobile game in terma of monetization.

P2W, whales, cheaters / hackers, and a community that just got worse and worse as time went on. Not to mention terrible changes to certain game mechanics like trading, among other things. I won an archeum founders pack from the Blood and Bounty screenshot contest they held during Beta, but I still left relatively early compared to most people who stuck around so at least I didn't get heavily invested into the game time or money wise.
