I was playing Metro 2033 once, and I suddenly started hearing a demon roaring, even though there weren't any in the level. After a few seconds, another one started roaring, and they got louder, and the audio quality dropped. The FPS started dropping, too. Eventually the entire game crashed.

There was one glitch in RDR where if you shot an npc with a sniper rifle just as they spawned they would pause for a few seconds and then start flying directly upwards at a very fast speed, still attached to their horse or carriage.
