It is. SMT is more than just being 'grimdark.' I'd say TMS is pretty similar to the Persona side series, with Fire Emblem characters as the spiritual guides to the characters.
The gameplay and combat is way more fun and honestly kind of addicting. They do a great job of coming up with unique dungeon designs and concepts inspired by the unique setting for the game.

It's actually good. The thing I like the most about the combat system is that you have access to your entire party during a turn and can swap them in and out, giving you way more options to approach and solve situations. I wish we could have an SMT game where switching out demons doesn't take away a turn

It's actually good. I was turned off my the initial reveal trailer, but I bought the game on day one and loved it. It has a better ration of normal life and dungeons than Persona.

Not that OP but, the game is pretty good, sadly the plot and characters are retarded also the gameplay becomes long and boring after you get the gorillion of session skills with long cutscenes every attack, also the FAIA EMBUREMU at the end was awkward as fuck.

For the gravure chapter all they'd need to do is offer the player a choice, do they want to do a normal photo shoot or go for something bolder. It'd be so easy to include, I just hope NoJ keeps a tight leash on Treehouse and their puritan sensibilities.

Man none of this shit was worth changing in the first place. At this point I feel like the Treehouse between 2014 and 2017 were just doing this shit in order to get more work and earn more money. Imagine being told that you need to bring the voice actors in again to say their character is 18 instead of 17.
It was definitely a dark time to be sure. By virtue of it being on the Switch it'll probably do decently. I hope there's a Special Edition of this game too, I missed out on the one for the Wii U but I'd be more than willing to buy TMS again. It's probably one of my top 20 favourite games.

Duo Arts? Those should stay RNG too, if you mean which options you get those are based on what party members you're using.
They reset the session and act as basically a beginning of a session involving two units. So if you had used Itsuki/Tsubasas duo art it'd be like the two of them performing a lance attack together and then the third party member would need a lance-linked session attack. It's why Mamoris duo arts were the best since they used Barry/Tiki which meant you can get all 6 other party members involved in the session. I once chained together a 28 session with that.

All we know is that an enemy had her breasts covered with mist in a cutscene (this was the same in the western WiiU version, but for some reason it was uncensored in gameplay), and that Tsubasa's infamous vagina bones costume is uncensored in a screenshot on the official site. Also all versions if the game are the same, so Japan won't get a different game this time
