I actually kinda iffy about this. It makes your character less unique and make me feel that I have less input on how the character grows somehow. Would have prefer that only the Gifts are inheritable, and you still have to choose which stats to raise when leveling up, or the Blood Codes only influence your stat growth or something.

Because PC versions these days don't get developed inhouse - They hire dedicated porting studios to do the ports for them and because those guys have their own builds and schedule things like PC demos pretty much never have a chance to get made.

All the stats are in the gear and blood codes (classes). There's still a pretty good amount of freedom - you can pick a blood code all for its stats and use none of its gifts (skills), just ones inherited from other codes, and it's a good setup.

Learn his attacks, use blocks and dodges. Use the Ranger red teleporty dodge TOWARDS him to make it easy. Really lay the fuck into him between his own attacks; he won't leave many big windows.

from my attempts dodging did not seem all that fantastic yet its the best option for the most part. what you can and cant parry isnt rewarding enough to discover and blocking shreds the shit out of stamina

Bloodborne, to be quite desu. This one too to a lesser extent. If you can see an attack coming, any attack, and dodge it by basically spamming dodges until the attack finishes, you can learn its timing pretty safely.

Use prometheus or something called that. It's one of the Bloodcodes on the bottom of the selection. It gives you a Gift that does like 500-1000 damage if it lands. I switched to Mia since i think she does more damage idk but she's cute. Bayonet has a nice moveset and the charged heavy attack does decent damage if you chain them together even if you do have to be point blank.

The only thing I couldn't do was dodge the spinning attack. I always managed to get hit every time.

Tried to solo queen's knight and keep dying around 40% hp. I dont think I can ever do it solo with the damage I do, I tickle him when I hit, maybe my "build" sucks. I already beat him with the other companions and yakumo was the best for the fight. What is a good "build" that you guys have been using? I kept it basic and used fighter with the broadsword, and the basic damage buff gift, dont know what to really use. And I am around lvl 18

trial and error = learn and exploit patterns to win
adapt = room to breathe and/or absence of OHK or high damage combos
One is a dance of sorts where you can take hits but recover without having to master the fight, while the other extends the length of the game artificially by forcing you to learn a boss. The most fun I've ever had in these games is when I've intentionally grinded my HP and gone into fights blind. I don't want to learn the fight over numerous deaths to win it, I want to actually adapt in a single fight. If I die a few times, especially if I'm being retarded, that's obviously on me, but all these games have the same sort of "insert another coin" arcade design to try and stretch their worth. Devs wouldn't need to make nearly as many moves for a given enemy if we weren't expected to memorize them.

I honestly would chop off some fingers and toes just for a copy.

Try a combo of ranged and melee. Aset BC has a really good ranged gift.

I tried soloing with a bayonet, Prometheus and 2 attack buff gifts. Most of his attacks aren't hard to dodge aside from the spinning one which has pretty fucked up range if you dodge normally, and the teleporting ones because it fucks up the camera.

Grind more. It sounds tedious, but grind more and you'll have more health to work with and you'll be able to upgrade your weapons to hit harder. I did it with Bloodborne and I'm definitely gonna do it with Code Vein.

The hit box for backstabs is a bit finicky.
