Been playing on MF difficulty without a crosshair. Not really worthy of the, "You quit the game and uninstall," description because it's surprisingly fair. My one complaint is that the drones are absolute fucking cancer.

For a first playthrough, I thought MF was a bit too much, especially during that first sewer level where I got lit up after being softened by all the hitscan in the previous map.
For a second playthrough, it was fine. Except for the final boss, where I managed to die during the credits.

I got impatient and killed the final boss while there were still Fiends alive. They killed me during the post-game kill/secret tally. The entire credits had the "You died" message on the screen and I had to force quit.

Oh, that fucking blows. I recently had my game take a permanent trip to 10 FPS land after I killed the hovering airship boss, and the framerate issue persisted into the subsequent secret level, so I restarted from the next zone instead of redoing the fight.

I don't understand how people can actually eat stuff like this.

All of the bosses and larger encounters gave me performance issues. Pretty much all of them ran at a steady 12fps for their durations until a Windows update happened. Now they run at 30.
I enjoy the game, but the little issues like that add up.

I can only remember having major issues with the final boss on my first playthrough, for obvious reasons. But yeah, there are definitely some areas where it doesn't run great, and I'm getting sub-60 FPS in normal play. Otherwise it runs pretty well for me, and I get a constant 60, but I've definitely seen a fair number of people talking about its iffy performance.
