Celeste is pretty good through the A side before becoming pixel perfect jumps and dashes during the B/C sides. Even they and the new chapter have some great puzzles at the cost of putting no touch zones everywhere.

Honestly, it's not my biggest concern with this game. My main problem is that sometimes, the game just fucks up and forgets to tell you about mechanics you need. Like in 7-B flag 9, where you're supposed to rejump in the air after bouncing off a cloud.

As one of the few actual fans of the game even when Yea Forums could do nothing but shit on the game (they only mention it now because of controversy lets be real, none of them care or play it and just think its meatboy or IWBTGTG) Im actually going to be mad if this does end up being Madeline is trans because she was an established girl and I liked her as a girl. Retroactively changing her gender in some update is bullshit and I feel insulted as a fan that they'd do that. Its all up for debate, but if the dev comes out and says thats what it means someday im going to have to treat it like FFX2 where i pretend the extra content doesnt exist just to enjoy the game I love
