Honestly, i never expected anything less and i am not a big fan of Epic.
Borderlands 3 is by far the biggest exclusive they got, the rest like Metro and Phoenix Point have nowhere near as much hype, brand recognition and PR that BL3 has, being part of a popular series that is known to have great multiplayer.
It was never a question if it would fail, there is no way it could happen, nor of how much it would sell because i can't see BL3 selling badly.
It's an AAA game with brand recognition and hype behind it so...not really seeing why people are either shocked or gladly pointing out it's selling well?
