Literal perfection.

xbone controller is just straight up better and the only reason you'd disagree is brand loyalty

meanwhile nintendo just fucking around

This. X bone controller just feels right it's unbelievable comfortable to hold.

The battery life is abysmal. Otherwise I like it just fine.

This. It may not have any games but it's the controller king.

>xbone controller is just straight up better

horrible d-pad
cheap plastic build quality
oval shaped buttons
worse ergonomics

only thing xbone does better is triggers

The battery life is poor. Buttons and dpad could be clickier, like on the vita.
Everything else is perfectly.

*blocks your path*

The PS4 controIIer is fiIIed with unnecessary shit

It doesnt need a huge fucking bIue Iight on the back for no reason or a trackpad used in pretty much no games on the front or a fucking speaker
Im sure it probabIy has fucking motion controIs in as weII, fuck that shit

xbone controller is prone to board failure and may catch fire once the filtering diode melts.

>Light
>Touchpad
>Facebook button
Lol no.

how does having any of those features hurt it though

>trackpad used in pretty much no games
The trackpad is for the PC chads Sony bends over to

Dualshock 4s build quality is fucking garbage.

You can literally feel the cheapness when you hold it.

The share button is pretty based IMO. Really easy to capture screenshots or gameplay videos. I don't even use the social shit.

Right and left buttons feel like shit relative to ps. Just accept our Lord and savior is the steam controller. Who the hell wouldn't use a touch pad instead of an analog for racing

>left stick and d-pad in the wrong spots
>perfection

The trackpad when used right is awesome. Like in gtav I don’t want to enter a menu to change the radio station. That would be so annoying, fortunately you can just swipe up on the touchpad. Perfect implementation.

Yeah, not sure what they were thinking there

>huge fucking bIue Iight
that changes color. devs use it to indicate health, stealth, swimming, all kinds of things. its just one of many subtle details that add enjoyment

>a trackpad used in pretty much no games
its usually used as an alternate select and start button, and its out of the way in normal play. which is better than having small buttons, you have a nice big pad. some games you can even scroll the map with it, gta you can swipe to select weapons, cant do that anywhere else

>a fucking speaker
the speaker adds immersion, when i get phone calls in game they come through on the speaker, and other little details, you cant beat that kind of innovation. honestly there is no better controller

>terrible battery life thanks to the always active but never used track pad

>triggers are badly designed
>watching a movie
>put controller down
>movie begins fast forwarding
Happens almost every fucking time.

the bumpers are horrible tho

>Concave sticks
>Textured backplates
No.

>tfw when a ps3 game doesn't recognize the ps4 controller

>implying
The ps2 controller is yet to be surpassed

Who the hell watches movies on a video game console

>Happens almost every fucking time.
That's a DS3 problem not a DS4 one.

not perfect until it become usb-c, connector is garbage

>horrible d-pad
wrong
>cheap plastic build quality
overstating it, and no matter what it's all made in china anyways
>oval shaped buttons
wrong
>worse ergonomics
ps4 controller is clunky, and sticks on the same level is the exact opposite of comfortable

Why would you want usb-c?

If it wasn’t a problem, I wouldn’t complain. The bumpers are too sensitive and are pressed unless I lay the controller down in a delicate and awkward manner.

I've had two xbone controllers for PC, both bumpers have broken

Why wouldn’t I use the Blu-Ray capable console to watch Blu-Rays? Am I only allowed to play video games and nothing else?

The triggers are convex, it's not a problem unless you push them in. The DS3 has the problem of a little force on top will cause the triggers to depress, the DS4 does not.

>leaving battery powered flashlight controller on while watching movie

My xbone controller d-pad broke after only 200 hours in fighting games

That’s not true, the triggers are lightweight, and putting down the controller triggers them constantly. You can pretend it doesn’t, but it’s a problem.

>Battery dies in 3 hours.
>Rubber on sticks is trash.
>Not necessary "light bar".
>Touch pad that just operates as extra unnecessary button.

Nah, it's terrible.

I like them both, really, but the miniscule battery life of the DS4 brings it down a notch for me. I prefer the more rounded handles, though.

Light bar is shit, but the touchpad is an absolutely based and actually useful feature
Would be good to be able to disable it, though

Shit battery life and the touchpad is useless, the PS3 controller was literal perfection

Attached: 3644737171.jpg (1000x1333, 360K)

I like how it has an aux port

Nope, custom controllers are

Shit triggers

This and based

But the PS4 has even less games than the xbone

I wonder if the stadia controler is any good
After stadia itself flops and is canceled maybe they will sell them cheap to get rid of the mountains of unsold stock.

>meanwhile nintendo just fucking around
Is the Switch Pro controller inferior to the WiiU's? Because the latter has to be the closest to literal perfection a controller has ever been. It would be perfect if it had analog triggers

That's the entire reason ps2 sold so well.

Give me a hard-wired version and I'd agree.

Fair point, take the PS4 triggers and put them on the Dualshock 3 and you would have the perfect controller

The fucking touchpad is so retarded. 90% of games just use it as a second pause button.

>symmetrical is uncomfortable
Malformed palsy mutt hands. So sad

Stadia's controller will probably be using some literal who $15 Chinese piece of shit controller with the Stadia logo and a $60 pricetag stamped on it, and it'll install spyware when you plug it in to your PC.

I prefer the 360 triggers. If they could have kept the triggers the same, it would have been perfect.

The light helps makes sure the battery life is garbage and the touchbar makes sure the options and share buttons almost don't exist

The light doesn't consume much power at all, the DS4 straight up has a shit battery and an inefficient board.
As for the touchbar, well it's basically two buttons all by itself. Bloodborne uses it that way to good effect.

I personally find it inferior, even though it has a gyro for stuff like botw. WiiU pro was great

Really? I always thought the DS3 triggers felt smoother than DS4
