I don't know what people expected. It's the same thing every time. Still the best loot shooter ever created because it's a fun video game and not a fucking job like Destiny

Pirate version when? I only want to play it because the particle effects on some guns look pretty cool and I'm a huge graphics whore. For me, particle effects are up there with water graphics.

Probably not close, since it's a new Denuvo version. Though who knows these days.

Borderlands 2:
>Kill things, get better weapons. The rarer the enemy, the better the loot you get.
>Kill things in certain ways, get ranks that incrementally make your character do more damage, faster reload speed, etc.
>Action skills are totally different for each character, can actually create builds that change the way you play the game.
>Enemies can be spongy if they're higher rank, but for the most part if you've got a green sniper rifle or above at their level you can kill them with a headshot
>Cosmetic heads/skins are handed out liberally, you'll probably end the game with over a hundred different cosmetic options. Rare cosmetics don't take a decade to grind for, and skins are shared between classes if you decide to create a new one
>It's a 30-40 hour video game if you take your time and level/do side quests for your first run
>Beat the game a second time while getting up to Level 50 for an ever better build, better weapons, and stronger enemies with different weapon types
>Only after that do you get to the point where you grind out dungeons/raid over and over again for the best of the best loot in the game

If you were to tap out after just playing the game once you'd still feel like you got your money's worth. Borderland's endgame is what it says on the tin; the endgame. AKA, there was a fun video game you played before you got serious about dungeons and getting serious about gear. Compare that to Destiny 2/The Division 2 and they seem downright anemic

Honestly the gunplay in borderlands 2 is pretty mediocre
Without coop it just the kinda game where you can put a lot of hours in it but it isn't really all that fun or interesting. And it doesn't sound like 3 really improves on it that much.

I'd unironically rather play Destiny 2 than Borderlands.

They said they knew they went overboard with Borderlands 2 and were going to tone it down. I don't know why I believed them.

What game have you been playing? I've played through the first area up to that techno boss and had like 7 blues, 3 purples and an orange drop.

Always loved the gameplay but I can't support Ebin Games or Randy, and the memes aren't really a selling point for me. I was sick of them when I was 14 and Borderlands 2 came out.

Same, the first two were a blast to play with frens but not enough to make me overlook Ebin n Randy faggotry. I hate getting old man, I wouldn't have given a shit about anything other than the game on it's own merits a decade ago.
