He is supposed to be a secret agent so yes, he has to kill al Imps in sight because otherwise Sheev would have started making some questions earlier or at least that's what Vader wanted Galen Marek to believe

On a game where Vader is able to blast squads of full grown warrior wookies and wroshyr trees effortlessly and ATSTs wield weapons almost as big as their cockpit. Not to mention that he barely beats the Emperor and gets himself killed while other more experienced users like Yoda would survive Also, he didn't pull it out of orbit, the destroyer was falling already and had to stop it from crashing right into him or something watch the gameplay and not the fucking trailer

Don't really have a problem with that, disidents existed and Vader just committed the critical error of letting his student gather them for later execution. Instead of killing them they became stronger.
You want a fanfic tier story? watch the sequels both the films and the TFU sequel on a lesser degree
