There are widely successful people that are also suffering from any numbers of mental illnesses. That'd be like trying to therapy a nigger by calling him a nigger. You're just gonna get a kick in the dick and someone who's not returning to the next appointment. Therapy lasts for years by the way, results are neither immediate nor specific either. The only end result thats accepted as clinical success is that the patient feels comfortable in his or her situation and that they remain functional in work and family. And if transitioning and HRT resolves the former, by all means do.
