I work at a preschool and there is a dedicated safe space in each classroom. It has blankets and pillows, a "feeling buddy" wall with puppets that have different emotions portrayed, and a matt that has different characters on it that show how to do different breathing activities.

I actually think it's a descent idea, teaching the kids to breathe, calm down, and to deal with their emotions and internalize them so they can come to their own solution, not slap a bandaid on and say "now you're happy!"

I think where a lot of other people go wrong is they use it as a solution for "kid is sad, go to your happy corner and ignore your problems!" And don't actually teach them how to deal with said emotions.

But also know that three year olds are learning the idea of being triggered and safe spaces.

Harmon had a divorce, went through a mid-life crisis and then hired a bunch of women to surround him in the writer's room (under the delusion of "diversity"). They, being unqualified and untalented writers and only hired on the basis of the gender, then produced a turd of a third season that felt like a clueless and shallow parody of everything people criticise the show for.
Also Justin Roiland clearly doesn't give a fuck about Rick and Morty anymore, he just turns up to do the voices.

The first season was basically lightning in a bottle with two writers balancing eachother off so neither of their negative qualities came through too strongly. That's all broken down and then you have lazy referential Mad Max parodies and the episode with Pickle Rick which is possibly the worst flanderisation of a show i've ever seen.

Eh, I'll say it had a a few good episodes when it was just trying to be a silly sci-fi parody show, but then it really nosedived in quality once it tried to hop on the "look at this deep sad lore in a bright and silly comedy show" bandwagon that every other adult-oriented show is trying to be and it just becomes boring.
