I suck at Tekken. In the new ratings I have S+ punishment, S throwbreaking, and S+ defense, and I'm still in green ranks.
What's a good competitive game I could try if I really liked this game? No fighting games please.

user, you've already refined your top stats, now take care of your weaknesses!
learn frame data!
learn movement!
learn matchups!
learn tech traps!
learn to have fun!
also this
Dota 2
is it yomi based? (fast paced decisions based on mindgames or spacing?)
i appear to suck at that
I only played Tekken 4 on arcade mode quite some years ago because I got it as a birthday present as a kid and have no knowledge of any of the other games or the story, I used to play with Yoshimitsu because I thought he looked cool, can soemone explain to me why he changes appearance every game?
It isn't
Because Yoshimitsu is a title
so it's more like chess or something
Ah, I see. So the one I posted can only be played in Tekken 4? Sad.
i've been playing tekken for about over a year now.
i'm an eliza main and i just got to divine ruler 2 days ago.
don't know frame data, but know what moves to watch out for from experience.
learn all characters basics and how the player plays then adapt (some like doing lows a lot, some rather whiff punish, ect)
try new things with your character or try new characters. but play the one you like and don't play meta characters for the sake of meta.
Kinda of in the way that heroes have counters and roles, but I never felt like Dota was very similar to chess when playing it, I played quite a bit of chess when i was younger too
Unironically Rocket League
fighting games are trash
waste of time to learn, waste of time to play. toxic af community

What an idiotic shitpost
its the same yoshi every tekken tho. the multiple one is in soul calibur
t. toxic
I spent an entire year completely immersed in tekken. I ate, slept, and breathed it 16 hours a day for 365 days straight. I mastered it.
I went to my first competition and got obliterated by someone who wasn't even good
I think you're a little too soft to play competitive games.
then you didn't master it, back to the lab again
Sounds like you didn't master it, hometown hero.
dont bother, this is one of the few games that doesn't reward hard work
you either have it or you dont
