but really, you have to hold out 17 turns and then she lets you go. Basically you have to know when to spend your money, because lowering her attack becomes progressively more expensive the more you do it. The part where the spider crawls up at your SOUL is the part that gave me the most trouble and I usually tried to lower her attack just before she did it for the second or third time.

She's a backer character too, so there's almost no hope of seeing her return in Deltarune. What a shame.

It's not after true pacifist. It's in alternate dimension where undertale has never happened.

the game takes place in an alternate timeline where the monster wars didn't even happen. W.D. Gaster has a much bigger influence on this game's story, to the point he's the menu narrator in the beginning and after deaths. the dark world, and impending instability of darkness, are also heavily implied to be the point of interest of his journal entry 17 (with deltarune itself potentially being the experiment he was talking about in said entry)

sans is in hometown because he's following the anomaly, just like he did in undertale.

the knight is probably kris himself, from BEFORE the player was given control of him. I'm predicting a swap-over to the frisk- style vessel you made at the beginning with the chara-style kris taking on a violent antagonistic role.

Yes there are, there are entire new screens. Even her basic attack pattern is much more complicated and harder to react to.

Personally, I found Sans easier. I guess because I'd recently played White Palace in Hollow Knight, and I'd never played a DDR type game before.
