This lil nigga is surprisingly good
He looks like Roy on the surface but he actually has resources available to make him great, and since he's the only constant in your army you may as well use some on him.
If you give him the first three stat boosters, and let him level up with scrolls a bit, he can become one of your best units for the whole game (and will be your best unit from Chapter 4-7). I'm on Chapter 17 and he's easily my bulkiest unit, even beating out Dagdar. He also gained two movement ups (Not as much as Orsin the 9 mov Pugi god). I don't think late promotion hurts him as much as Roy because stats cap at 20.
Fire Emblem Thread
Anyone that actually played FE5 knows that Leif, while not a power house like Sigurd or Ike, is still a very useful lord. I'd say he's about upper mid when it comes to lord usefulness. He won't be soloing his game, but he's still far more useful than weaklings like Lyn or Eirika and isn't downright trash like Roy.
So who is the most useless lord?
Roy by a longshot
He's good for the last like 4 chapters, after he promotes and gets his fuck-you weapon. Complete dead weight until then. Exists to seize thrones.
>never gave Leif any scroll
>pre promote sucked balls
>after chapter 18 he get his shit done
>late game he is really fucking good
Man he is literally Est, literally the opposite of Roy
kinda mad that Dorias died off screen, he deserved better
>pre promote sucked balls
???
What do you mean
Dagdar is good at base for almost the entire game
Olwen and Eyrios have the easiest access to Bolting
Saias, Sety, and Galzus are incredibly powerful endgame characters
The rest of the prepromotes are at least decent filler, what's wrong with them?
Leaf is a decent unit, I disagree that he's your best unit in manster but he's still pretty good as long as he gets a point in speed and a speed ring. I think he's middling as a combat unit after that but his support and leadership bonuses make him valuable in various situations.
I generally don't bother but if you want you can train him to be super strong in chapter 20, since he gains exp quickly after promotion; in terms of exp gain he's effectively level 1 after promotion instead of level 21.
oh yeah and Dean is probably your best flyer after you get him and has a personal Brave Weapon with Vantage and has high PCC
Asbel is better than Sety
By the time you get Sety, Asbel's been doing Sety things for like 20 chapters already
He's easily the best combat unit in the game
Lyn.
Hitting twice and critting constantly isn't worth much when every hit deals 0 damage.
Here's a tier list with the "standard fire emblem" approach to tiering, I think it's kinda dumb though
>Local boy too angry to get tired from fighting
>units that join at the very end of the game that high
>any staff user not SSSS+++++++++++++
(lol
That is dumb, how the fuck is Eyvel that high when she's only available for 6 chapters and is only really good for 3 of them? And those chapters are incredibly easy too. Dagdar should take her spot and Eyvel should go way down.
because FE tier lists are dumb and you'd have a hell of a time getting an SSS rank without her
Holy shit this is bad.
>Eyvel that high
>Glade that high
>Dalsin that high
>Mareeta that low
>Shiva that low
>Carrion that low
>Havan that low
>Olwen that low
>Saias that high
more objections, again I think Asbel should be toppest tier, Sety is way more useful when you have him than Hicks ever was or will be, again Mareeta is better than Hicks, Paragon Sword means she's pretty easy to train and a 5 PCC unit is always good, Eyrios and Olwen should both be higher since they have the easiest access to Bolting, Fergus is just as good if not better than Finn, and Dalshin is godawful, Manchua definitely isn't as good as Shiva
and also Olwen being below so many legit garbage units like Tanya and Marty makes me think you definitely have a bias
D tier is retarded in general, like why is Halvan there
You're both wrong.
Worst Lord is FE11 Marth.
Roy at least has earlygame Rapier utility and does become useful once he finally promotes and gets his broken-ass Sword.
Lyn is just mediocre if you train her, though the Mani Katti is pretty decent. One of the worst, but you can make her "functional" if you want to.
Meanwhile, FE11 Marth has shit bases, shit growths, two shit personal weapons, and literally spends the entire game being useless. You can give him a shit load of stat boosters and he'll still suck dick due to Swordlock in the FE game with the most Lances. Hell, IIRC a capped stats Marth STILL gets one round killed by Hard 5* Medeus, so he sucks at the one thing you think he might be useful for.
>eyvel
by far your best unit in the early chapters, only way to kill bosses quickly
>glade
without him you have to do something dumb like warpskipping ch13 and even then the boss has big shield
>dalsin
He's right beside brighton and machua since they're all good manster units
>mareeta
She's out of the junk tier because she can do a couple niche things in the last chapter if you train her
>shiva
He's never very good, but at least he can use the fire sword sometimes
>carrion
He's never good, not worth training if you're going for rankings
>havan
He's not useful after manster, if you train him he can use vantage+master axe but that's a ton of training for minimal benefit
>olwen
not recruited, just like the rest of the tier
>cyas
He's a godly unit for his entire existence
Asvel is good but outside of ch10 he's easily replaced, he really doesn't do all that much compared to the SSS tier units.
Sety costs a turn.
Mareeta has minor contributions in the final chapter and takes a bunch of effort to do that, while hicks has minor contributions in the manster escape. They could go either way.
Eyrios' bolting is rarely useful.
Fergus is good in manster but just okay afterwards, you might not even deploy him after manster because he's not worth the exp and knight proof and you have prepromotes like fred, whereas fin is the #1 bosskiller in certain maps
Dalsin is great in manster.
Machua is valuable in manster whereas shiva doesn't really fill any niche. Even if you want to use one of them later on, machua will have a few levels as a lead so she works as a filler unit.
I started FEH yesterday. What do I need to know? Should I spend my shit now or wait for something specific?
>Fergus is good in manster but just okay afterwards
c r i t s
fred isn't as good as a promoted fergus, fred doesn't have the crits
finn doesn't have the crits
the crits + horse makes him really good for capturing
it's not like you'll be strapped for knight's crests in this game anyway
>playing fates revalation
>never cared about the villageslut
>leveled her for loli purposes
>god tier stats, literally unkillable
Mozu is my FEaifu
revelation is the worst fire emblem game, if you're early in i recommend you stop, it only gets worse
play conquest, it has mozu too
Chooze veronica as the healer, and try and reroll for brave ike. Literally broken with how good his weapon refinement is.
I finished them all except revelations. I only do it so I can move on to that red haired faggy one and then finally 3H
Meant this for
>Eyrios' bolting is rarely useful.
For taking out ballistas it absolutely is. And ballistas are fucking strong in Thracia.
FE11 is just bad in general outside of a couple maps. FE3 is better in pretty much every way, and they even tweaked Marth's growths in the remake of that
Sure he has crits, but so what? Fred can just 2HKO without crits (fire sword etc), fin is even better at capturing due to his brave lance, asvel/homer/etc are better at killing bosses. You actually are pretty strapped for knight proofs (and you're unlikely to have enough exp to promote both asvel and fergus) in ranked runs.
It's nice if you're doing a warpless run but by the time eyrios joins you're just skipping over ballistae so I don't give it much weight.
The best time to use bolting is in chapter 14 but I usually don't have access to it at that point.
FE11 is weird and broken but that's what makes it fun. Play FE3 first, then play FE11 H5 and screw around with forged ballistae and stuff.
>making tier lists for a single-player game
You'll get Brave Ike for free eventually, Fjorm, Brave Veronica, Legendary Ike, and Eir can easily carry you through early game story content.
Best to learn the game for a while before spending any resources - it depends on what you want to do. as I said above, you can use the free sword Ike you got along with the other units listed (Pick Veronica and Micaiah from your free picks) and you'll get through early stuff just fine.
You can totally save your orbs for waifus if you want, but my best recommendation if you want to save would be for Azura: Vallite Songtress who will be on a banner at the end of October. She's one of the games top support units.
is there a way to increase stamina?
It's just a way to talk about video games we've played
Get out now, it's not worth it.
Assuming you don't heed my warning:
>Pick Ike as your CYL1 Free Unit, as his new weapon refinement is broken and will get you through most content with ease, and you can just use him as Steady Breath fodder when his use runs out
>Anyone works for CYL2 Free Units. Veronica is the most useful but doesn't have much fodder, Hector and Ephraim are very good and come with incredible fodder. Celica is the worst but is still pretty good and has DB4.
>Pick Eliwood for CYL3 Free Unit. Any benefit the others have is outweighed by him having Swift Sparrow 3 for fodder.
Outside of that:
>Reinhardt is still broken in PvE Content, and they give you a free one nowadays for doing the quest thing they added recently.
>If you want to be at the top of the game, Dragons, Armored Units, and Armored Dragons are the way to do it. You either have to sacrifice your love for everything else to save for these units, or whale to get both the units you love and the best units in the game.
>Unless your favorite character is a Fates Royal (or is roughly as popular as one), they will only ever get one version (if that), and said version will be powercrept in a year or so, assuming that they aren't already outdated when they release.
How do I get heroes from FE3H in the mobile game? Do I just need to keep fucking rolling these orb summons until it happens or can I directly buy one that I want..?
No, such is the curse of mobile games. There are stamina pots which will restore your stamina and you'll be rolling in them eventually, but at the moment you'll just have to suffer.
At launch we actually only had 50.
New players can't pick from CYL1 anymore. And it'll be a while before new players can even access his refine.
>yfw the world map of Jugdral is only a fraction smaller than the continent's actual size
When you summon, you have a 3% Chance to get a featured character on that banner, and a 3% chance to get any character in the 5* Pool that isn't on the banner.
Since no TH characters are featured on the current banners, your chances of getting one by summoning on the current banners are exceedingly low.
You basically have to wait until they show up on a banner again, and we don't know how long that will take.
Really? IS is getting more jewish by the day.
i wonder if someone could fill that in with thracia maps too, even though they're so much smaller
It is 99 so it isnt abysmal. Alot of the end game content does require that you have meta units though. If anything the game itself will make you appreciate the actual fire emblem games more.
I got Ike on my 2nd roll and veronica for free.
I got Veronica,Ike,Alm,Reinhard and Laegjarn. Is Laegjarn any good?
Where are they now:
The lone Armor Knight in the middle of the mountains in FE4 Chapter 2?
Nice. Yeah, thats a good team. And aside from leagjarn being the hottest girl in game her stats are real good too.
cooooooooooool
You’re new so stamina will still gatekeep I guess. Surprisingly little shit in this game actually uses it. Stamina potions are pretty common and completely refill it so keep that in mind.
lyn is fine in her story, she can't seize so she isn't a lord in hector/eliwood.
Eyvel is too high, imo she's C tier at best, crazy good on the first chapters but then she fucking dissapears for the entire game.
Glade is WAY too fucking high, the man comes kinda late and he's horrendous in indoor maps.
Eyrios is too low, the man is crazy bulky and has a fuckload of HP.
Ronan is too low, the man is a mov god, really good for utility stuff.
Trewd is too low, he has better base stats than Mareeta and his performance with the brave sword is pretty similar to Mareeta's with her personal blade.
Dump Robert, Kein and Alva to E tier, literally worthless units.
Olwen and Conomore are too low, both are pretty mediocre but nowhere near as shitty as Miranda and Shanam.
Fuck, meant to reply to
He commits suicide once you capture Clement’s castle.
I know it looks silly but I'm just trying to adhere to the typical fire emblem tier list format here.
Eyvel saves more turns in those early chapte~rs than other characters do over the whole game, she's essential.
Glade's spot is stupid but I'd rather lose a different character for the whole game than I would play ch13 without glade. He could move down a bit but he's got to be pretty high, like how karin's spot is mainly for chapter 9.
Eyrios is an okay filler unit who you may or may not ever deploy outside of ch20, he's a possible sleep sword user but there are better options and his movement sucks indoors.
Ronan is complete trash. I put him ahead of marty due to movement but he really contributes nothing.
Trude should never leave the bench. There's a huge difference between him and mareeta: mareeta is trash but can fill a niche with training whereas trude will always be subpar. He doesn't support galzus, doesn't have PCC and won't have high enough accuracy to ORKO elf. It's also entirely possible that you'll skip the brave sword.
Robert, kein, and alva may be worthless (aside from minor rescue chain stuff) but E tier is reserved for units that have a negative impact on turncount, i.e. olwen and the B route characters.
You're going to buy her game for the Switch, right user?
I don't know if I can get through FE5, because I'm really burnt out on Fire Emblem right now. But I have no idea when I'm going to be in the mood to play it again.
Am I the only one that always purposely makes the deadlord characters die? The deadlord fight seems a lot more significant that way.
Give it a rest, you should never play FE when you feel burnt out. FE is most fun when you can get immersed and really think about the strategy.
You'll come back to it in a couple years if you're still alive so there's no harm in waiting.
The endgame of FE7 where Nergal brings the deceased members of the Black Fang back to life as Morphs owes a lot to the Deadlords in FE5, I think.
see, I would've use people who died during the story like Eliwood's father and Leila, just to add some sting to it.
that whole chapter is basically a ripoff of thracia's final chapter
What are the conditions to get the deadlord portraits? The characters have to die at specific times, right?
