What exactly is their relationship? Brother and sister? Cousins? Boyfriend and girlfriend? Clones?

Father and daughter
They're lovers
They may look like a duo, but it would be more accurate to call them a trio.
The third Ice Climber is behind the screen, holding the controller.
Nana is the parallel universe version of Popo
Popo is her grandpa
Melee devblogs have said they're more than friends but less than lovers, they're childhood friends in a relationship and taking it slow. They just wanna climb mountains.
Listen here you little shit
Hardy har har.
They're the Famicom Love-Love Combination Fighters!
Lovers. And twin siblings.
gross
You mean hot, right?
They're the last two humans on a frozen Earth. They rely on each other to get food and fend off Topis. Their bond is stronger than that of just plain lovers, as they genuinely need one another to survive.
Best taste
Dude... what if... Open. World. Ice-Climbers
I've unironically suggested, not necessary open world, but a non-linear Ice Climbers game focused around climbing one impossibly tall mountain coming up with your own path a la BotW (using that as an example just because of its heavy use of climbing). I want a horror-tinged Ice Climbers game where you have to scale an unforgiving mountain with vicious monsters. Give it Darkest Dungeon-esque permadeath where upon dying you have to play as a new pair of climbers starting at the foot of the mountain, though any progress you make stays (ropes you set up are still there, major enemies you killed stay dead, etc.) Imagine a cross between Journey and Made in Abyss sans the pedophile shit tonewise.
Dude, what if Ice-Climbers Battle Royale
Dude... what it... Bethesda style Ice-Climbers
what are the chances the ice climbers will be in smash?
And then fans of made in the abyss could post pics of judy hopps cosplaying as an ice climber.
It fucking sucks to hear that their retro studios reboot got put on hold, fuck metroid
never ever
not relevant
>implying the game wouldn't have an anthro seal girl everyone sexualizes
