Sonic Unleashed
it's not a perfect game but it has the best production values of any sonic game and all it needed to be fantastic was taking out the werehog, medal collecting and fix the framerate issues.
Just remember that no other Sonic game has looked as good as unleashed despite the game being almost 11 years old

Star Fox Zero isn't a worthy successor to SNES and N64 installments, it just spends too much time fucking things up in spite of the many moments where they show actual signs of excellent design. Needed an additional year in development as well as more control for Platinum over the project.
