It's just a shittier Bloodborne in a DaS1 coat of paint

It's a completely haf arsed game, realy short and yet still has several areas that are basically bloodborne chalice dungeon rehashes. Despite it supposedy being set at the end of the world with the flame burning down, doesn't really do anything to reinforce this atmosphere.

>Spin souls 3
Too anime for me.

Ds3 had better and harder bosses than bloodborne though.

You're able too roll too much in DS3.

Yes. And BB had better enemies, atmosphere, music, world design, levels design, narrative, etc.

The structure/world design sucks and most of the base game environments are extremely drab. Everything else is pretty good.

Learning movesets =/= difficulty

It's polished a lot which I'm very glad for, but unfortunately loses the branching paths that made multiple playthroughs fun like in DaS1.
Makes running it a bit of a slog in the beginning, but I still very much enjoyed it.

It didn't really feel special for what was supposed to be the last game in the series.
The final boss was pretty cool though

>world design
Not really. It's marginally more "open" than 3 but doesn't compare at all to DaS, Sekiro, or even DaS2. First half is connected but very simple, second half turns into a teleport-fest.

>Learning movesets =/= difficulty
u wot
What the fuck is a boss if not learning their moveset? What a bizarre thing to say.
not him btw

It's still better than Dark Souls 2/3/Sekiro easily, as all those turn into a teleport fest but never get anything that approaches the quality of the Cathedral Ward and surrounding areas. It doesn't help that Dark Souls 2 and Sekiro have boring level design in addition to turning into teleport spam. Dark Souls 1 also turns into teleport spam. The only thing that stops that is literally not having teleport.

Its more of a bloodborne game than a fucking Souls game. Thats why.

It's not Dark Souls 2

HA IM A NIGGER HA IM A NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER

That's one way to take defeat

Because it's the only good one

>the higher the line, the bigger the IQ

These graph never fail to trigger me for how idiotic they are. If you ever looked at the bell curve this graph is referencing, you would see that the IQ is supposed to get higher when you go further to the right not at the fucking center holy shit.

It is still accurate though, Bloodborne and Demons Souls are the higher IQ choises

It's not on Switch?

You're so fucking dumb that you can't read a graph, you must've dropped out in grade school
This nigga is right.

That's not how bell curves work you moron.

where's sekiro?

Fifth game in the series, first with no innovations. Entire game is a rehash and it's not even a polished rehash.

Forgotten.

Because :
>Unfinished areas (Catacombs of Carthas, Irithyll Dungeon, Profaned Capital
>Instead of trying to be its own setting, which is one of the positives spends most of its time referencing DaS1
>Hyped up Frost Element does jack and shit
>Poise can work the way it did in previous titles but has been seemingly sabotaged last second, making heavy weapons builds less appealing
>Pyromancy is now MAD, shitting on its major advantage from the past titles of just needing atunement so it is no longer easily slot into a build
>Still pretty fucking linear
Those are most of my complaints, I guess anyone else can try and add on to this.
I'm not saying it's a bad game in general, but it's certainly not my favorite in the series and has a number of glaring weaknesses.

>mashes R1 with a longsword and fucking destroys every enemy in the game
Nothing personnel.

This is literally the mirrored version of the true scale

>124k all time high on steam
>forgotten

What a fucking moron.

>It's a completely haf arsed game
Yet it has better bosses than all the other games combined?

>several areas that are basically bloodborne chalice dungeon rehashes.
Which one? Demon Ruins? Chalice dungeons invented corridors, I suppose? As someone who played DS3 first, I would have RATHER the chalice dungeons actually had a skin that was different to the bog standard one.

>Despite it supposedy being set at the end of the world with the flame burning down, doesn't really do anything to reinforce this atmosphere.
Did you look at the fucking skybox? Dark Souls 1 & 2 are comfy as fuck considering the world is meant to be ending. DS3 at least bothered to put a darksign sun in the sky.

kys avatarfag. Nobody cares about your avatars

Hate for Darks Souls 2 is a meme, right? There possibly cannot be this many imbeciles that think its bad.

The only thing that bothers me about Ds3 is the story change, seems like Bandai wanted to leave the door open for Ds4 so they removed the series climax. Had the original story been left intact it'd be equal to Des Das and BB for me. I still love it for what it is though.

DS2 haters in a nutshell

"I keep dying because I can't roll through everything and I can't chug estus fast enough! REEEEEE"

Every soulsborne is god tier in my book with the very evident exception of DaS2
what a shit game

Ds2 is a low quality souls knockoff made by people who didn't understand what made souls good in the first place.
It's one of the easier games, the difficulty isn't why Ds2 is shit.

>Unfinished areas (Catacombs of Carthas, Irithyll Dungeon
Really? Those two areas were the most fun to explore for me.
Not profaned capital though, that garbage was insultingy empty.

>I guess anyone else can try and add on to this.
How about:
>way more bonfires than necessary, and dumb placement
Was it really necessary to make a bonfire appear after every bossfight? It felt really stupid walking from the dragonslayer armor to the archives, and finding another bonfire already. Barely 20 seconds of walking between the two, no enemies or items.
>all the weapons feel the same, there's barely any moveset variation
>weapon arts are useless for the most part, and making it share the same mana bar as spells is dumb.
>menu navigation is worse than it was in DS1
>invaders have estus
Talismans should be something an invader uses to hunt down the host, not a necessary item for the host.
>blue sentinels and darkmoon are identical
That one is a minor complaint, but why would they make 2 identical covenants? What does it add to the game?

I also feel that all of Anor londo could be scrapped without losing anything of value.
Of all the numerous "hey, you remember DARK SOULS 1, right?" callbacks, it was the most egregious one.

Because every soulsborne game is absolute crap

The only ones that hate on it are salty 2fags.

>user with retarded doesn't know how make a bell curve
Shocked.

user, the Irithyll Dungeon is fucking tiny. Datamining implies it had a boss at the very least but you cannot help but deny that the end of it with a dozen copy\pasted jailers just walking around the outside of the room was a fucking abrupt and disappointing ending to the area that seemed to at least have some potential to be like Tower of Latria 2.0. In a good way of course.
Carthas on the other hand just seemed very odd. You have this weird, nominally Middle Eastern themed (Curved swords, sand effect on some skellies) tomb inbetween a Marsh full of wildlife and wolf motifs and then suddenly a frozen wasteland. It's almost like how in DaS1 the Painted World was a cut area that they didn't have the heart to garbage can so they hid it to the side, but instead it's a mandated area you have to go through that also leads to another tiny as fuck area that serves no purpose and feels like most of its purpose was left on the cutting room floor (Burning lake\Demon Ruins)

>invaders have estus
If I may, I'd rather change that to PHANTOMS have Estus. I feel it's pretty BS that blue and white phantoms on the hosts side can just chug estus, and given that the host can pretty much summon phantoms infinitely if they kite your ass it made invading a fucking pain.

Based. Agreed.

Ds2 had some good ideas and improvements over Ds1, but the devs fucked up the fundamentals (soul memory, agility). Ds3 threw out all the improvements while also throwing out any sort of difficulty, inconvenience or build diversity (other than choosing weather or not to use spells) and reintroducing a bunch of dumb shit like luck.

What weirds me out is all those places are so half assed but nameless king's pad seemed complete and I completely missed it first play through

Half of the bosses are shitty coppy/paste humanoids with the same attacks. Things like in that webm will never happen for most players and if it does it will not justify having to slogging through the game for it. Not fun, just boring.
