I always liked Muk
Never used it on my team but I thought it was cool when I first saw Ash use it during the Johto League because it was different from his usual team in terms of appearance and type

One of the blander designs from Gen 1. For as much as people hate Trubbish or Garbodor, it at least has more memorable features than a literal pile of amorphous goo.

Muk is pretty good. I prefer when it only has one arm out, it feels like an implication that it's struggling to keep itself together which is also conveyed by how it's more flat and spread out than Grimer.

I remember him being my favorite in Gen 1, but then Gen 2 came and the Typhlosion line became my new favorite. I still like him a lot though.
