It seems a lot more quiet and melancholy than vc and san andreas, excluding the wild areas in the latter. Claude not talking contributes a bit too.
I felt V was not nearly as parody/satire heavy as the 3d games for the most part what with the main story being a lot more serious and grounded seeming, but that may just be how realistic the games try to look now.

It's dark, grey, drab and depressing. I guess R* didn't go there anymore because you need the mainstream audience to make the most money. I mean look at GTA IV. Same city as in III but in IV I remember the colours yellow, orange-ish or brown. The darkness was still there in places but it was less on the surface. It was less psychotic. I dislike trains/trams in GTA games. Why does Rockstar insist on always using a "cinematic"- third person camera when in such a vehicle? It would be much more comfortable to be able to be in the train/tram and to see the city pass by your window. They implemented this even for the first person view in the metro of GTA V. The whole point of the feature is to be able to see everything fron the first person view, except when in the metro, when it would help most to create atmosphere.

V is absolute shit, zoomer.

PC "fixes" that by it being a fairly generic tps if you don't use the auto aim. In fact it makes 3,VC,SA a little too easy except for driving.
