So boys in case you're wondering why the hell the crack is taking so long, here's your answer. The absolute fucking nerve of good ol' Randy, man. Motherfucker sells the soul of Gearbox and knows full well we're all going to try to pirate it since the epic games store is spyware garbage so he makes sure they add always online DRM to make it as much of a bitch to crack as humanly possible. This faggot deserves a beating.
So boys in case you're wondering why the hell the crack is taking so long, here's your answer...
Lmao now I'm not even pirating that shit even if it comes
Does epic store have a offline mode?
who wants this crap?
i wouldn't play it if tim paid me
I live in a third world country (America) so I have a data cap on my internet. That's a tremendous amount of data to play a fucking looter shooter.
I, too, believe everything I see on the internet
You are asking for too much
So are we sure this isn't some stupid torrenting thing where users help others download the game so as not to overload the servers.
And dropped lmfao
EPIC SHILLS ON SUICIDE WATCH
Why would it be coming from BL3's executable then, unless Gearbox jury-rigged the game exe to function as a torrent client to get around the fact that Epic has no preload function
Also that doesn't make sense either because it's out now, there's no need for preload and it should all be on Epic now
I dunno. Not unheard of though. Shitty mmos do it all the time.
That's 147 Bytes per second, which is a little over a tenth of a KB. How retarded are you that you came to the conclusion that it is 2 MB/s.
>offline mode
>when you cant even buy more than one game at a time
It would be coming from the launcher executable and it wouldn't be actively streaming gigs of data out while the game is running.
It has to be DRM related
English isn't your first language I see.
Man, thank god I didn't get it, the one thing I hate the most is always-online DRM, I have high-speed broadband but sometimes I can lose it for a few seconds, enough to ruin games with shitty DRM like that.
>gets called out
>becomes defensive and obtuse
Again, explain to me how 147 B/s is 2 MB/s.
>2MB/s
Nah, making a mistake when presented with a full stop decimal seperator is a pretty damningly obvious sign that someone wasn't raised in the anglosphere. That said it's 283.299KB, or about 2.266Mb, that's megabits not megabytes so the OP image is still kind of wrong.
>Tim Sweeny
>giving a fuck
lmao.
In some European countries they use "," to act as decimals, but in the US "," is simply used as a separater to make numbers easier to read.
So for example...
1,000,000 = 1 million in the US
But to some people it might read as "1.000.000", which is essentially 1.
So the 14,552 isn't Fourteen Bytes point Five Hundred and Fifty Two per second, it's Fourteen THOUSAND Five Hundred and Fifty Two. Obviously that's a much bigger number.
>this man deserves a beating for making his stuff hard to steal
based retard ESL
>in case you're wondering why the hell the crack is taking so long
What? It literally just released a few hours ago, you retard.
The guy who's made the screenshot isn't from the US, you dimwits. Look up his twitter.
Don't be retarded user. If the comma was being used as a decimal point then everything below 1,XXX would be written as 0,XXX.
Instead it's just written as XXX since it's using US formatting.
Good guy, Randy. Ensuring EGS succeeds.
Where are yesterday's Borderlands 3 retarded shills at ? Where ya at plebs ? BTFO
That's still a mile away from 2MB/s regardless
>If the comma was being used as a decimal point then everything below 1,XXX would be written as 0,XXX.
Are you retarded? The column permanently denotes the values as Bytes. If you'd change 174 to 0,174 it would be incredibly wrong.
> Look up his twitter.
I did and I checked his stream too. His twitter doesn't say anything about where he's from but his accent and streaming schedule in PST makes me thing somewhere in the PNW.
That's not remotely what I was saying. Learn how to read you monumental dumbass.
I didn't even know Borderlands 3 was coming out.
3 mb(it)ps Network I/O are now 2 MB/s? Are people really this retarded/
nigger
A lot of people don't know conversion between byte, kilobyte, and megabyte let alone that mb and MB are two different things and that a megabit is substantially smaller than a megabyte.
And honestly it's not hard to see why. Fuck whoever cames up with this nomenclature and measurement standard, it's fucking retarded.
Imagine being so dumb that you can't divide and multiply by 8 to get bit/byte conversions or by 1000 to get kilo/mega/etc. If you want to talk dumb conversions you'd have a point mentioning kibibytes or mebibytes, which use 1024 proper instead of 1000 for multiplier.
The fuck? It’s only been out like 3 hours why is Yea Forums so fucking retarded and gay
I think he meant it's shit because people mix them up easily and it's true, english is not my primary language and this shit keeps bothering me in my work
>Spend years streaming anything
>Never at one point use all those sweet streamer bucks or at the very least save up to buy better internet
Fuck Borderlands anyway, but fuck this idiot too.
It's chink spyware that watches your every move and keylogs everything you type and measures your mouse movements to see how weak the average amerikan gamer arm is so they have an easier time invading. Why would it have an offline mode?
NOW we know why BL3 testing and review copies were so close-too the chest of the dev company. They likely don't want whatever this anti-piracy DRM stuff they are using getting leaked and information known. This isn't much evidence to go off of, we will need too see this data streaming verified by more sources and if there is realistic reasoning for this outside of actively sending some kind of your system data to an anti-drm service.
Here retard
14552 + 14429 + 13735 + 13258 + 13195 + 12655 + 12277 + 11819 + 11747 + 11247 + 2114 + 7402 + 6515 + 762 = 145,707 B/s. We have to convert Bytes to Bits, which is usually what network speeds are measured in. To do this we Time the B by 8: 145707 * 8 = 1165656 b/s. We now divide by 1000 to convert our b/s to kb/s: 1165656 / 1000 = 1165.656 kb/s. Then divide by 1000 again to covert from kb/s to mb/s: 1165.656 / 1000 = 1.165656 mb/s. While 1.16 mb/s isnt 2MB/s, alot of ISPs like to fuck people on upload speeds. The image is mislabeled but thats probably a result of the maker of it using all caps and not paying attention. But that doesnt matter because youre a fucking idiot who cant count. Streaming a game at 360p30fps is about 1 mb/s, raising resolution and frame count significantly increases the bitrate needed to stream a game. Next time in the future just try counting numbers up randy, it might help you not lose your USB drive everywhere.
Nobody would decide to read 1,000,000 as 1, at least here in Europe where we do use the comma as a decimal separator. The presence of two commas would tip us off, and even if there were only one, we'd still be suspicious of the format. It's not like we're not cognizant of this disparity.
>uses "time" as a verb
>capitalizes it
Going by the addresses the pic says it's sending to, I'd say that's likely.
You've got that one in the middle that looks like it's the start of some ISPs dyn-dns system.
Really fucking shitty of Randy to pirate your bandwidth while demanding you not pirate his game.
