To add to this I like both of their personalities (in the OG at least) with Tifa as the demure but faithful girl and Aeris as the spunkier one, both were pretty likable in the original game. So it really just comes down to looks.

I don't think the rest is subjective nonsense. They're measurable. Saying stuff like Aerith's face is prettier for example would be totally disputable and unclear.

Now do I personally care for the gameplay differences? No. Yet it's still not dishonest for me to bring them up. Tifa isn't even uniquely powerful. She's underpowered and clunky to fight with because of roulette taking too long. She just rockets way ahead of everyone with Powersoul (And Master Fist for a very small time), as I implied.

Here's hoping Elena get way more screen time in the remake.
