Is the PS2 version better? I just downloaded an iso. Sick of the DS versions being so samey. FFVI looks better on Snes too. At least IV needed the upgrade.

Apparently party convoys and end game aren't even translated. Why even bother making translation patch if you can't be fucked to actually put the effort in and finish it.

Make sure to check Party Chat almost constantly - your party members will react to goddamn near everything in the game. Talk to an NPC? They'll have a reaction. Check that shit often, it really fleshes out the story.

I personally didnt care for the aesthetics of the ps2 version. Also you cant marry Deborah in that version. But if you dont want to then I guess that version is fine. Plus I think you get an orchestrated soundtrack with the ps2 version.

Hard monsters was such a god send. It made the game so much better. I remember beating Dora-in-Grey on hard mode and just sitting back in my chair staring at the victory screen like I just came a gallon from the greatest blowjob ever. It was such a satisfying feeling. Certainly wouldn't get that from wiping her out in 4 turns on the default difficulty.
