Daemon X Machina if you really feels the need for a new Armored Core.

It's not my first Switch. My last one was "damaged" (I'd rather not talk about it, and no I didn't break it. It was just an accident.) I played BoTW when the Switch first dropped.

Fire Emblem is the most bang for your buck. It's 60h per play through and there's four different paths.
Astral Chain is the better game. Good mix of combat and problem solving.
DxM seems like a spiritual Armored Core successor, so if that's what you've been looking for, go for that.

Fire Emblem is longer by a huge margin. Astral Chain is 20ish hours, DxM is supposedly between 15-20h, Fire Emblem is 60-80h per playthrough and four different paths.
Pick Blue Lions for first play through btw, it hooks you in much more and you can always convince your favourite non-Blue Lion girls to join your house.

I just got past the timeskip on FE as BL and honestly i cant muster up the drive to play it. That game is too braindead and too nuFE. I dont think Fire Emblem is really for me anymore after this and 3dsFE

Smash Ultimate is really fun. Even if you're just playing by yourself they've really stepped up the a.i. They also recently brought back Home Run Contest. In terms of good exclusives, the switch doesn't have a whole lotta them. That being said, there's a lot of great indie ports.

Astral Chain is the most full game I think of the three, with FE3H being a close second

I've finished the main story of Astral Chain today. Game's amazing but the story feels really rushed and unfinished. I've tried the Daemon X Machina demo and I like it a lot, I'd advise giving the demo a try to see if it's your thing or not. I've never played an FE game so no opinion one way or another.

Fire Emblem has upwards of 200 hours of content if you really want to get into it.

I though I was gonna hate Three Houses and love Astral Chain but the opposite happened (Well I didn't hate AC, I was just disappointed).

If you end up loving XC2 at all, definitely pick up Torna.

Managed to get around it by going to the main menu and updating, since the Switch complained about it.

Dragon Quest and Odyssey for sheer content. Xenoblade 2 could be up there as well, but I found it rather mediocre unless you have a hard-on for the first game's weakest elements.

Or save a voucher for a month and see what further impressions are like for Luigi's Mansion 3. It'll be shorter but goddamn it looks great so far.

Do not listen to shitposters. There are sales on eShop, but Nintendo rarely puts their games on sales, 2 or 3 times / year, and it's usually only 33% off. Other publishers have sales more often. But I can't say for certain if Bayo 2 was ever on sale, lol.

Also, for reasons unknown, some games are not on sale in every region. For example, during the Black Friday, it is entirely possible that 1/3 of games on sales will be different in, say, USA and EU.

I've put 400 hours in Xenoblade 2. If you liked either of the previous Xenoblades or just JRPGs in general, definitely get it.

You probably know that, but there's a demo for DQ11 on eShop. It really is long, it can take up to 12-13 hours if you decide to do everything (the demo offers), and because the demo is the beginning of the game, you can transfer your save data to full version. BUT DO NOT DELETE DEMO before the game comes out, as the save file is tied to demo.

I'd get FE right now. It will likely not drop in price; being a first party developed game. Astral Chain and DXM will likely be under 30 bucks each within 6-12 months.

Not exclusive, but Lethal League Blaze is a must on the Switch if you have friends, since you can easily play with the joycons and have quick blasts of fun.

Fire emblem because it will definitely soak up your time. Definitely a game worth investing. If you got a rather short game like astral chain for your first game your going to get bored. Fast.

I think the digital foundry video used a FLIR camera on it and it's a little cooler when in use but the same when charging.
It will have the fan go on less often, and when the fan does go on it'll spin at fewer rpm so it'll be much quieter.
