Not the costumes, graphically it reminds me of a mobile game aesthetic but animation wise it's a 1:1 recreation, good job.

gamecubes were about as powerful as smartphones which is probably why you see that similarity. also it's playable on phones so there's that

Not in the year 2019. A console might not even be able to handle a split of the screen.

Crystal Chronicles didn't have split screen multiplayer anyway, it's like smash bros where it all takes place on one screen, with the camera centered on the chalice

I don't know why my mind jumped to splitscreen, still couch coop on a single console is buried.
We'll be able to do it with 4 switches or if you bring 4 PS4s in the room so that's couch coop even though it's dumb.

it's going to be available on android and ios as well and if there's crossplay that means you can have one person on console and 3 on phones or any combination of phones switches and ps4s. assuming everyone can crossplay with everyone you could have a switch, a ps4, an iphone, and an android all on the same couch with one tv

i've only heard the 5 seconds of voice acting that was in the original trailer. if you can disable it i won't mind but i don't know if it's typical dogshit dub tier, or if you'll be allowed to use jp voices

My Life As a King and Echoes are actually good.
Bearers was shit, as much as I wanted to love it. The MC was cool and the Yuke antagonist was cool but everything else just sucked.

X made the mog drop or grab the chalice IIRC.
