I've lost count of how many times I've tried to like Borderlands. I must have started Borderlands 1 like five times now and 2 three times and Pre-Sequel once. It's always so fucking awful with subpar gunplay at best with enemies that not only do not react to damage but even if they did you can barely fucking see them when all you see are numbers bleeding out of them. What's funny is that I find that the writing is the best thing going for it, and it is ok at best and eye gougingly awful at worst. I don't even get the appeal because the story and characters are very spread apart from long as fuck shooting galleries of braindead enemies so that you can get a gun that has higher numbers so you can see even bigger numbers pop out of people's skulls.

It's just a very very shitty series and 3 honestly does not look any fucking different from any them.
