I really hate that RoosterTeeth is basically just this massive malformed amalgamation that chews people up and spits them out. They seriously feel like the Disney of e-celebs. ScrewAttack has been one of their victims.

You guys may not really know this, but this is what a fat trimming in the corporate world looks like. This was was either:

Trimming the fat would be closer to selling off one of your brands, not firing people in your HQ office because you don't/can't pay their wages.

They canned 50 people, that's much more than a strategic removal of a few people would need.

Also, they are owned by Warner, which is not adapting well to the new media landscape at all, so this is more than likely them just trying to cut costs.

The same media group they fall under also laid people off in 2018, so there's a clear pattern.
