Bonus if it can be used on a pc
Best dpad on a controller?
saturn controller
Unironcally the DS4 one. Would be the GOAT controller overall if it weren't for the shit battery life.
Fpbp
This. Genesis and Saturn had the best dpads.
No 8bitdo or snes controller?
Is there a pc adapter for those?
U avin a giraffe m8?
personally I still think the DS3 has one of the best d-pads
I really prefer Sony style d-pads with the empty space in the middle even though it's still one piece
Yes, you can find them on Ebay.
Or if you don't want to bother with that just buy a 8BitDo Saturn one.
the wii remote
unironically
Mayflash Adaptor or an 8bitdo controller as another user pointed out.
same desu
>Unironcally the DS4 one
unironically kys
The new SNES NSO controller will have bluetooth, right?
Not a controller but the vita
Hori Fighting Commander
xbox one controller, you retarded mouthbreather roodypoo.
The switch pro controller is honestly one of the best i've used in a long time
Thanks bros!
Sod off
While I like the Xbox One dpad, I hate how loud it clicks.
Makes playing any retro/2D games annoying to play when the Dpad is clicking loudly your entire gaming session.
I use this for tekken 7 and other fighters. Works on pc,tekken 7 on ps4 (though it doesnt seem to work for other ps4 games), and switch
I dunno, I would be epic if it did. Most likely it will only work on switch
Good but not the best, you neckbeard burguer
I use Joy Cons and the Pro Controller on my PC all the time. So hopefully if it connects the same way it'll be the best controller to play 2D games with.
This one is pretty cool, I've tried one at a friends house. Too bad it doesn't have joysticks
The pro controller is decent, but it is not the best out there, and the price is way out there
Is it worth getting an adapter for the wiiu pro controller?
Never used it but looks like four separate buttons. Is it actually so?
No, it's a membrane
I like the logitech f310 for fighting games. saturn and most other circle pads are oversized. outside fighting games pads really don't matter, the execution bar is far lower.
I unironically love the post revision Dpad of the 360 controller.
Is there a reason why pros don't use thr DS dpad?
Dunno, never had one bro, although v says they are at least good
I actually have the wireless version of that controller. One of the best one ones, the thing is that it only runs on aa batteries and the ergonomics aren't that great imo, the ridges hurt my tiny hands
Either the Sega Saturn or the Dualshock controller for the PS1.
Dunno for sure, but they all prefer fighting sticks for whatever reason. Not my thing, since I am looking for something very versatile and those things are a one trick pony
Thanks mate. I really have to try the saturn one.
Is the ps1 controller the same feeling as the ps2? I never held a ps1 one, but I grew on ps2 and gamecube
honestly it's a tie between these 3
>vita
>wii u pro
>saturn
thanks mate
There's really no reason to use any controller other than the DS4 at this point.
Unironically prefer using this for fighting games over playstation or Nintendo dpads.
This thing is great. Usually use it when playing shooters on switch.
I got this a few weeks ago and its basically become my favorite controller.
It hasn't the best dpad available, that is for sure
Using a PS4 controller on pc with usb.
What do you dislike the most about it?
Vita is undisputed king.
does the xbone controller seem off to you guys?
the thumbsticks dont feel as good as the ds4
Really the only thing I dislike about it is it can't wake a Switch from sleep, but that's most 3rd party controllers.
Actually, I think the xbox one controller is the the best looking controller ever and the most comfortable for 3d modern games.
The thing is, it's dpad is not the best, especially for fighting games, and it is quite expensive too, if you factor in bateries and adapters for pc
Thanks mate! These seem the best option so far, with best bang for buck, the only thing I would change is add more colors
Vita D-pad is the best I've ever played with, but it's not really a controller.
Too bad...
I think the limited colorways are because they're a small company and they focus on retro designs. I was surprised they didn't have Super Famicom colors but wouldn't be surprised if it's a trademark thing. At least you can still get replacement buttons if you want
I just got this in GB style (because GB magenta buttons > NA SNES lavender), really really excellent. They fixed every problem I had with the original, and it's got hands down the best D-pad on a modern controller.
Only the old sn30 is available in leafland :(
it's like the worst one though
Dual Shock 2
That is awesome!
*blocks your path*
Without a doubt one of the best I have ever used. Not sure if it is really the best
I actually have the Gameboy one too, just couldn't find a good image for it.
I've looked into it, but it is way too overpriced mate
fuck you
>GB magenta buttons > NA SNES lavender
good taste
The Genesis one is pretty bad though.
What's good for one person is garbage for another
I wish we had a more consistent value system for d-pads
