i know this thread is kind of a joke, but sans is unironically a pretty safe bet for next game because of how extra his mii costume is.

its pretty obvious sakurai wants a playable character from undertale. something got in the way of that, and i think it was nintendo. nintendo seems to be using the pass to reward companies who have been heavily supporting the switch.
(ATLUS revealing SMTV back during the announcement, square for dq11s and other big games (like octopath), microsoft for being microsoft right now, and SNK for adding literally 40 of their games to the console on launch day.)

so, i'm thinking that sakurai added the mii costume to satisfy that for now and then'll upgrade him next game.

that or he could just add him or frisk in the post-pass DLC and i've typed all of this for nothing.
