as much as david cage is shit, tbf heavy rain have fucktons of choices & consequences that really matter

At the time, Heavy Rain was pretty goofy, but every other choose-your-own adventure movie game that has come out since then has been waaaaay worse with it's choice variance.
The fact any of the 4 protagonists could die at a point in the story, and the story could keep progressing, or the fact the central antagonist can die before the big climax already puts it ahead of most telltale games.
Until Dawn was pretty kino too.
