>Best Resident Evil will never be released
Best Resident Evil will never be released
but it was, already 17 years ago.
Imagine if they took the mold idea when RE4 was still in alpha. Then we could have tried to go the whole “is is supernatural or not?” route for the theme.
play devil may cry 1
It's best because it was never released.
really makes me think
since they didn't cancel resi 6 or dmc 2 then i can only imagine how awesome this would have been.
Not many REfags understand what went at stake during 3.5's development and the subsequent complete change of it to the RE4 that we know today. How it affected the timeline and future of the series and they discard it as just another beta.
A beta, that spawned 2 GAMES aside from RE4, from which one of them would go to become one of the most successful vidya franchises: Haunting Ground and DMC.
If you actually take the time to read about what they wanted to do with this game (both plot and gamewise), you will get amazed.
But, for good or bad, RE4 happened and the series went on gradually to become full action, abandoning survival horror until the advent of RE7 and REmake 2.
ALTHOUGH: There are rumors that with RE8, Capcom thinks to use some elements from RE 3.5. We'll see.

>Leon dying like a faggot
No thanks, i rather the timeline that have DMC and RE4 Leon
>i rather the timeline that have DMC and RE4 Leon
Also the timeline with RE5, RE6, Project Resistance and the "cool" John Wick action pack.
The timeline of the series' existential crisis and depart from horror.
No thanks.
Paranormal activity doesn't fit with the themes of Resident Evil (Biohazard).
If you actuallu cared to read for the project, you'd now that Leon would get infected by a virus based on the Progenitor one, where he would often see illusions out of no where. The game would get you to a point where you wouldn't now what's real and what's not. Pretty advanced stuff.
The main reason why this didn't happen was because of the limitations of the GameCube.
outbreak was released, user, what are you talking abut?
this shit looked so good fuck just remake it and make leon older or something
>RE4 happened and the series went on gradually to become full action
This historical revisionism has always been retarded. The series started becoming more action focused as early as RE2.
Regardless of if it was going to be more action-oriented or not (and in what form), It would never come to the retardation of Chris punching a boulder or Leon doing capoeira breakdance, or "CHRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIS"....
>dumbest parts of the castle are a result of this crap
>best
>fucking lava
3.5 would have been eons better than 4, 5 and 6 all together.
If I ever travel back in time, this is one of the things I'll change.
>limitations of the GameCube
God damn console niggers ruining everything.
This isn't aimed at 4 specifically, but I always find it interesting that some scrapped concepts turn out better than the final ones. I love RE2, yet the ideas for 1.5 were better imo.
Why would I waste my time reading shit about something that would never come out?
I bet in this version ashley was a child
At least there's this.

but best version was released
Cold Fear doesn't play good, why would this?
Kino is more important than gameplay
RE3.5 had the perfect camera, over the shoulder for exploration and fixed angles during combat and they never try to replicate that ingenious combination ever again in new titles. Capcom are run by fucking idiots I swear.
I really wish this board would stop dicksucking cancelled early builds of games.
Devs scrap shit because it wasn't good.
devs scrap shit because they are spastic retards that should be killed, you fucking boomer
>It would never come to the retardation
Nigga, fuck you. Code Veronica was out by then and sold shitload. The series was going all action.
