Animal Crossing.
persona 4 is shit
best JRPG of all time.
fpbp
Also this shit pic related, thought it was going to be good beyond the meme quotes thanks to Steam reviews, turns out it was arguably the worst game i've ever played.
i love Doom, Quake and Serious Sam but i find this game so painfully boring
one of the few games i had to put down because it was just too boring for me
new vegas
bait but not even the best persona
nier automata
Skyrim, just felt so boring
Most JRPG fans dont actually JRPG gameplay and are just too stupid to make get their hands on VNs so something like Persona that pretty much is a VN is their dream come true
Every game that uses turn-based combat and isn't called Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door.
Ocarina of Time, maybe Ill try again later this year with the 3ds version. Zelda in general, but I guess thats because im a brainlet. Also this
all loz games except botw
Most games that get frequently discussed here.
t. has only played turn based games made by Square
Borderlands
Supreme Commander
This game is boring as fuck.
I played Earthbound and Persona too and didn't care for either of them. If you have a recommendation I'd love to hear it.
JRPG wise Grandia uses a real time with pause system thats pretty cool and lets you do shit like manually dodging enemy attacks by targeting enemies on the opposite side of the field or combo locking enemies with faster characters while a slower party member delivers critical strikes
Western wise Xcom EU does a really good job at distilling turn based combat to its rawest form with every action being the essence of Risk/Reward with no fluff
I liked it more than P3 but I understand why it might not be for everyone.
is the*
Maybe if you guys knew what it was like to have friends, you'd understand.
Not him, but if you want turn-based, i'd recommand the Etrian Odyssey games.
Since you constantly get skill points to invest, instead of getting tired to death halfway, you get more hyped instead. Plus turns can pass really quickly. (particularly from Untold 1 onwards since it introduces a really high battle and walk speed)
Had extremely high expectation going in but found it to be extremely mediocre.
Same. It just feels like Harvest Moon/ Rune Factory but with less to do.
If I see any of those on sale I might pick them up.
Had such high expectations for this game but wow it was fucking terrible.
The story and the aesthetic is top notch but the navigation is so atrocious.
So often I would miss a specific wall to scan and get stuck at a dungeon for hours and walking through the entire dungeon trying to scan every wall got real tiresome.
based
Clearly you don't have friends because only those fags who have no friends actually like p4
I had no friends and I didin't like Persona 4
The anime was surprisingly good though
I genuinely hated this game. I don't think I was bluepilled enough for it. Comparing it to what it ripped off Earthbound did it 25x better 2 decades ago.
