Despite what these try hard say, RDR2 was a great game. However, the linear approach to missions really hurt how replayable it was. I’m looking forward to playing it again 1-2 years from now when I forget most of it.

It has a really great story. Its cowboy kino and the feels are gonna hit you really bad. But the liniar mission design, slow paced animation and stuff is killing the replayability.
Youre gonna play trough that game max. 2 times.
One play trough is rushing trough the story really quick, the other play trough is taking your time and explore the whole map because there is stuff to find and things to expirience everywhere. What kind of playtrough you make first is up to you, in the second one you do the opposite choices from the first. And after the first play trough you look up missable stuff and missions in the internet so you dont miss them in the second one.
Make one play trough were you are the bad guy and one where you are the good one to get the whole redemption cowboy kino feels expirience.
Dont be a neutralfag.

The only thing that's made me cry in the last decade was Arthur's last ride to the camp. The game's plot is nothing special, but the characters and atmosphere just nailed it. I got real Breaking Bad vibes from it all.

Dont do the 100 percent trophy it will make you hate the game.

You have to actually play that game to get the value out of it since it's about using your own hands and brain to overcome a challenge. Just watching someone else play it doesn't sell you the feeling. Kind of like watching someone jerk off doesn't quite compare to actually jerking off.

This was the first game id played on my PS4 in a year and it was the most boring walking simulator I've ever played. If you enjoy 40 minutes of tilting up on the joystick while some character goes on a droning monologue through the mountains then you don't enjoy video games. I bought a PS4 for RDR2 and it was okay; very overrated. The game's beginning was a fucking slog, and all the followed it were missions with very slow starts that consisted of mostly just riding and talking with your gang members for several minutes until you reach your destination, followed by the same unsatisfying console shooting in this webm.

Again, RDR2 is very overrated.

I did the challenges by the second mission of Ch. 4 and got to enjoy the rest of the game with maxed out Arthur and the LotE outfit. Felt good man.

This week they released a free expansion that added a lot of cool shit like bounty hunting and trading, which makes hunting way more fun
