As an open world game the stealth never really clicked for me like it did in Asylum.
A tight story, fun modes not locked behind WB paywall bullshit, and the feel of really “cleaning out” an area make Asylum top tier.

It was the perfect size with the perfect amount of collectibles. Didnt overstay its welcome at all. Only thing id have loved to have more of is predator maps and scarecrow levels but those are a very minor complaint.
Arkham origins had the best boss fights in my opinion, the deadshot and mr freeze fights were great.

I like the smoother gameplay experience of City, and it's a more even experience while Asylum has higher highs and lower lows.
I liked both but I was less frustrated with City, but Asylum definitely has more SOUL though

The Arkham games are great because they actually give a shit about the source material, inb4 some faglord comes in with the LOL WELL BATMAN IS RUNNING PEOPLE OVER IN MY GAME AND THROWING THEM OFF BUILDINGS SO UHHH LOOKS LIKE HE BROKE HIS OWN RULES LMAO shit it's one of the very few video games where you actually fucking feel like the hero you're meant to be playing as. It's the perfect marriage of punching dudes in the face, his amazing arsenal of gadgets (even if they rehash the same shit, but Metroid gets away with it too so fuck it), and if you really play it as Batman as possible all of the dudes shitting their pants about you taking them out one by one is fucking awesome.
Also, I'm lol'ing at the people crying about the Joker movie.
