Yakuza 7
can you change the outfits and weapons of your party members, the office lady looks prime for fun outfits
She isn't a OL. She's yet again a hostess.
Yeah, I think they can pull it off
oh ok, well still hope you can change everyone's gear and not just the new main dude.
Locked to Premium Adventure as usual
Looks fun, but it will get old really quickly. Even in previous Yakuza fights were tedious after a while and they were 5 times shorter.
>They chose to play as rpg because the main character sees his situation "Like a Dragon" Quest
I fucking love this!
oh you just reminded me, they were anal about switching outfits in the older games because of the cutscenes, but with the job system here it doesn't seem that way
>put kiwami 2 on hold since judgment came out
>stopped playing judgment half way through
>it's a great game i just can't force myself to play vidya when i don't feel like it (i get like 2 days a week and i'm running errands on those days mostly)
>still want to beat them + 3, 4 & 5
i can't keep up with vidya like this. how do you people do it? it's great we got all these remasters but i'm a bit too busy to play them all. i'm excited for yakuza 7 but i want to finish kiryu's story first. should i just skip 3, 4 & 5 then?
is the homeless guy your wizard? he harnesses the deep magicks to puke on people and summon attack pigeons?
I choose to believe that he's slightly delusional and seeing everything as an RPG is a coping mechanism
>Ichiban (and the other party members I assume) change clothing depending on the job you choose
That's neat
Akiyama is basically Kiryu's best friend next to Date in 6 so that'll make no sense to you since you have no reference to why that is, the first cutscene of 6 literally spoils the ending of 5 because it just plays 5's ending minus the final boss, and the entire game is based off of Haruka's full retard moment at the end of 5. The games aren't going anywhere so why are you rushing? Just take it at your own pace and have fun, the most you'll miss out on is random discussion which will probably still be there years down the line anyway.
You have to go to the employment centre to change jobs too
Y7 has an auto battle mode like all modern JRPGs do, for better or worse.
The gameplay looks surprisingly ok to me so far, however I'm uneasy about the devs making a game of this type for the first time. Is it going to be require grinding to get past mandatory parts of the game? Are boss battles going to be interesting designed in terms of how fights play out? This shit isn't actually that easy to execute well
Don't rush the games, its easy af to burn out. Try starting 4. If the Akiyama section still doesn't give you enough fun to continue, then just drop the series it won't get better for you.
>I want to finish Kiryu's story first.
>By skipping basically all of it.
This is why I hate newfags.
For the first time even in the Yakuza series, the mooks fight back.
>turn-based
>an auto battle mode like all modern JRPGs do
I find it funny how even the devs of JRPGs recognize how boring their combat system might get after a while, but instead of finding ways to spice up the system they instead choose to find ways to automate it.
The actual premise sounds kino
However these devs are not good at gameplay
