Nothing will ever scratch this itch, will it? nothing will ever come close to bloodborne

i mean video games you fucking retard

No, the medium peaked with Bloodborne.

All the dark souls titles are very close to BB, user

The variety of the maps, the atmosphere and the aesthetics really sets BB apart from the rest of souls game. Replaying it now.

Sekiro scratched a similar but different itch, but overall I'd say no. Atmospherically there will never be another Bloodborne. Other DS games don't feel the same. Even a direct or spiritual BB sequel wouldn't feel the same imo.

I feel like it's this gen's MGR, where everything, despite glaring flaws, came together to just be "it" and never to be repeated.

Sekiro already surpassed it

nice try sonyfags but I’m not gonna buy your console and its 1 (ONE) game

Blasphemous just came out. Do yourself a favor.

sekiro didnt do shit for me
cleared it and thats that
to this day i think about bloodborne

i didn't like them

i just started it. it's pretty cool so far but it's no bloodborrne

Try Blasphemous

Maybe once the ps5 is out sony will half ass an updated port with 60fps and no juddering/tearing

This isn't to shit on BB, it's great. But wtf not even a PS4 pro patch to make it somewhat run better? Lazy fucks

I've not found a single thing close.
The closest is that old ps1 game nightmare creatures or something.
Pic related.
If you use the pic to search through Yea Forums archive it should give you the exact name.

maybe Bloodborne 2, but with Sony focusing more on cinematic and movies, i doubt it bloodborne 2 will happen

Demon's Souls and Dark Souls are both better than it, so...

it's literally just nightmare creatures

Bloodborne is still my favorite single player game of all time. I'm not sure anything will ever top it.

A daring synthesis!

play more games son.

>sideways Bloodborne without orchestral music
The game looks cool, but the production value of BB is a lot of the appeal.

Well, came to say this.

>want to play Bloodborne (and dick around in online obviously)
>have to buy ps4, the game AND ps plus subscription

i'd have the money but spending an overall 400$ or so just to play it? fuck that

Wait for the PS5 announcement. If you see nothing about Bloodborne, or a super boost mode, then buy a PS4 Pro super cheap during the PS5 launch.

it'd have to be max 150$ for the console, the game AND online sub and that's alREADY fucking ridiculous to play ONE game

recommend more games dad

I agree that the online price is silly, but BB's single player campaign is very strong. If you're buying the game for the multiplayer in particular, there's way better games for you on Steam already.

Sekiro is dogshit and was forgotten in record time

not in particular but i wouldn't want to miss out on it and thus i'd HAVE to buy online

does anyone know what the fucking deal with that game is, will it be ps4 exclusive FOREVER or eventually come out on PC?

The problem with its exclusivity is that the IP was conceived and owned by Sony's "Japan Studio," who approached FromSoft for help developing it. They wanted to work with Miyazaki again after the acclaim Demon's Souls got. BB is a Sony game through and through, and only a miracle will bring it to other platforms. Sorry, man, but this one's a bust.

It'll be emulated eventually

Bloodborne does nothing special. The first half of Dark Souls is a far more compelling experience than the entirety of Bloodborne. and when it comes atmosphere nothing is better than Demon's Souls.

Yet here we are, 4 years later, still talking about Bloodborne and how so many of its bosses are kino, how the trick weapons are all fucking great and about how fantastic the aesthetic is.

It's a good game plus console war faggotry is a great conversation starter

what a load of shit.
