Red flash = parry
Yellow flash = get the fuck out of the way
You need to unlearn some muscle memory to do it right, since the red flash signifies the beginning of the attack, not the actual part you need to parry. This is especially bad on larger enemies where the gap between flash and hitbox can be over a second.
