So this is the power of Modern Ys

i fucking hate bezelless phones

Considering that you can use a controller, new phones/tablets are stronger than the Switch, and the screens are bigger and higher resolution, this seems to be the only good portable Ys experience.

Looking forward to it.

You mean "bezelless" phones. They still have bezels, and now they also have notches and holes in the screen.

I hate mobile games so fucking much. Am I the only one?

>Touch screen controls on an action game
>No tactile controls on an action game
Ha no.

Did they remake it on UE4? Pretty sure that's UE4 shader there

Notches were a thing that lasted for a year, new phones don't have them.

>you can use a controller
Literally no one but turbo nerds like myself are carrying around a controller for their phone. Even then you'd also need a holder for it to be at all comfortable.

If we talk about 1k$ phones then yes, but Switch is still cheaper. I wish they just did Switch pro or some shit.

Join the telescopic master race.

>1k$ phones
My 400 dollar Poco runs Fartnite better than the Switch. Switch is a fucking joke.

The Switch has two things that phones lack:
Proper cooling and curation.
These two things are massively important, and you can only get one of them on $1k+ phones

Fake news, go buy some censored games snoyboy.

Looks like there's 30 variations of this thing. Which one isn't a piece of shit?

This combined with stadia is literally going to end nintendo consoles lmao

What I said is the truth. I don't give a shit about Snoy.

Yeah Stadia is going to fucking kill NYou've run out of data for the month and have been charged $15 for 1 GB You've run out of data for the month and have been charged $15 for 1 GB You've run out of data for the month and have been charged $15 for 1 GB You've run out of data for the month and have been charged $15 for 1 GB

I have a Flydigi Wee2. It works really well for me.

Looks better than the console versions.

Does it have any input lag?

ipega pg9087

good face buttons and analogs
switch-like triggers and bumpers, take that as you will

Attached: 71RTSXvMMIL._SX522_.jpg (522x522, 49K)

tell that to Apple lol

>Chink spy devices that ask for your GPS info to use their programs
Nah

i bet the sticks don't drift either

? I borrowed one of those from a friend and it was fine, you connect it to your phone via bluetooth, there's an app that lets you reconfigure some inputs but you don't need it since it already works like an xbox controller out of the box

>uses bluetooth
I mean, admittedly, how else would this work right? But I feel like any phone no matter how modern would just go through its battery within a few hours by playing a graphically intensive mobile game as well as having things like bluetooth, wifi or others turned on.

yeah, battery can be a nuisance but that's pretty obvious

and modern Bluetooth versions (3.0 and up) barely drain battery while turned On

Flydigi Wee 2 has no input lag and no deadzone issues unlike the iPega posted.

The Saitake 7007 is also great for the grips and better analog sticks than the Wee 2 but you're trading for a worse d-pad and having to use that chinkshit Octopus app while the Flydigi Wee 2 has a much better mapper.

I never noticed input lag, I even used it to play Project Diva on the psp emulator and had no issues

samsung too, the Note 10 and s10 both have the worst notch implementation ive ever seen its just a hole cut in the side instead of over the status bar where it bugs people the least

>version of game with lower res textures, lower poly models, and reduced render distance runs better than the version with console/PC assets on weaker hardware
Woooow

Is this a normal mobile port or gacha Ys?

na...there's a handful that I played but christ do I have touchscreen controls and bluetooth controllers have noticeable input lag. If there was a decent wired/clip-on controller for the Galaxy series I'd entertain that but otherwise sticking to my GPD Win

hate* touchscreen controls, not have lel

Haven't tried it firsthand so maybe that's true but I know from research that the Wee 2 definitely has the best deadzones out of all of them.

Why? they look great

Chinese mobile port of VIII

You CAN use a controler
The game could be dumbed down so that people using a touchscreen can finish it.
I'm not getting the pc version of genshin impact unless they confirm it is harder than the phone version or has a difficulty select.

because it's a fucking phone and a phone should have buttons, you look at a brick and it's unrecognizable. it's not a game device, it's not a camera for your "art", it is a fucking phone

I can't count the number of times my phone's battery has tanked due to overheating when running a game, much less trying to use navigation while driving. Shit sucks

funny because the Switch also overheats sometimes

Define phone

I honestly can't imagine this happening unless you stay at home and play on wi-fi anyway, and at that point why the fuck would you not use your computer

Thankfully hasn't happened to me yet. Both devices get hot as hell in my hands but only my phone has actual problems when it gets that hot. What the fuck am I paying $900 for

There are gaming phones starting to come out with built in coolers like the Asus ROG Phone II.

iPad Pro with Bluetooth pro controller. Nothing better for streaming.

gaga

which phone

Helps that falcom games look like mobile games in the first place

That means no always online or gacha at all? May get it then, is the extra content from PS4/Switch confirmed?

We just call them phones because that's the thing they evolved from.
Nowadays, they are just flat, compact computers, with an emphasis on moment to moment convenience over being strong at doing any particular thing.
They probably aren't even that great at being phones compared to something you'd make explicitly and only for the task of telecommunications.

>this seems to be the only good portable Ys experience.
What's wrong with 1&2 on psp?

That's what I meant. The ROG phone is a high premium device that costs more than a reasonable budget PC. Asus isn't Apple, so I doubt other companies are going to follow their example and put a fan in their phones.

ARCHEOZOIC BIG PHONE

Gaming on a phone is the most disingenuous gaming method known to man. Every single time I see people talking about phone games, or how they riced their phone, or what game they can emulate on it, it 100% always devolves into a pissing contest about specs. I have never once seen any of these people with all this shit complete a game. They work on it until it's at a point where it can run, then they play it for 15 minutes as "proof" that they "did it", then they drop it and look up the next phone with the next highest specs so they can jerk off about that as well.

It's so eerily close to the way PCfags play games, except they've been known to actually finish one of their 10,000 hour autistic "Grand" strategy games, so at least I can have a tiny modicum of respect for that, but people who game on phones are a waste of cum and eggs.

I beat Seiken Densetsu 3 on my phone so shut up fag.

Doubt. These fuckers cost 400 bucks on 1 time a year sales and have tons of freemium games that suck ass. Hope you rike buying 99999 gems

>curation

The mobile and Switch versions are the same.

Yes, curation.
