I was a good boy guardian on my first playthrough in 1 and 2 and now I want to replay dark side. I think I'm going consular force build in 2 because the force powers are better so I want a different build in 1. The sneak/demo seems boring and I don't just want to make another guardian but dark side. I guess my only option is a dex blaster build?

Me either, at the time. I had two methods of defeating Malak. One was as you described, attacking straight on, alternating medpacs, the other was to simply run away, and use the throw lightsaber power contiually. He would continually be just out of attacking range. Cheap as hell.

I read that malak saves a shit ton against force powers, so that along with the force just being worse than in 2 makes me not want that build. Maybe I might just go vader build and use heavy armor instead of shitty robes even with the force restriction
