no dont watch those playthrough videos on youtube. pretty much nobody plays it without a heavy armor set. you however can play it as a fast and stylish action by playing it naked. it actually improves the game experience. ofc you can play it with soulsborne style but imo its better not to wear an armor because you get killed by two hits either way. stamina matters.

It might just not be the game for you, user. I like that I can sink hundreds of hours into it to grind out better gear and do the missions on higher difficulties. If you're just after an action game to play through the story, Nioh probably isn't for you.
