My personal GOTY is Ace Combat 7. The devs managed to deliver thrilling moment to moment gameplay with genius mission design that are highly climactic and suspenseful. The game is a showcase on how to retain the spirit of its legacy while also embracing new technology, embodying both tradition and progress. It's a PS2-era game rendered in HD, with all its sweet imperfections and charms.
