Just sold my PS consoles and I'm left without gamepads. Is this the best thing I can get for my PC below $30?

Should have kept the gamepads. How much did you even sell them for that you're planning on buying some shitty controllers for $30?

>PC
the only controller you ever need on pc is the official bluetooth xbox one controller.

there aren't good controllers that cheap, just save up for another DS4.

get a logitech, bro

I have one of these as well as a few dualshock 4s. It’s fine, I just played through Celeste with it. I also play Mario Maker with it. Above average for a third party controller.

this was the worst controller ive ever owned, enormous dead zones on the analogs and extremely cheap construction

Do they have any problems pairing or staying connected to a Switch?

Rent free.

The sticks on that thing are an absolute piece of shit. Used to play Halo CE with one that I stole from my jewish friend.

I have the wired one from the OP so I wouldn’t know.

Not the best, but it is pretty good. It's great for 2d games and fighting games. It's not super comfortable in the long run, though. There is a version with full ergonomic grips like a modern controller. I'd recommend this + an xbone controller for modern games (or a DualShock 4, whatever you prefer)

It's a lot better than some of their earlier shit but my d-pad sticks all the fucking time

They don't.

This I can agree with. It’s nice to have the old SNES form factor but I noticed my hand beginning to cramp after long play sessions due to the lack of handles.

I got a wired 360 controller for 20 bucks. Works great

They used to come with a way to do it, but then they realized they could make more jewbucks by forcing you to buy their adapter so newer controllers no longer sync out of the box. It's kind of a double edged sword because it barely worked in the first place and usually exploited a glitch that was patched out.

I use my corded SN30 while I wait for the REAL SNES controller to be released to play the SNES games they added, and you have to do some dicking around in the settings to make the controller functional. It's actually kind of annoying because I have to remind myself to go into the settings and turn it back off in order to charge my controllers.

Why would you play Halo on PC with a gamepad?

you sound like a nigger so the jew must have thought of you as a tool anyway so just think of it as reparations

I just tested that logi controller with Dirt Rally to check the dead zones. The analog sticks and triggers are tighter than everything but the best PlayStation controllers I've tried. The dead-zone for turning the steering wheel was negligible. Maybe a millimeter. Sure, it's not the most heavy duty FEELING construction, but it's tough enough to take abuse and regular gaming. I've tried Xbox elite controllers with analog sticks that were a loose floppy mess by comparison. Can't beat the F310 for $20.

Pretty great on switch considering that's what this particular one was designed for (it works on PC and phones too), Only thing it can't do is wake up the switch like a pro controller can.

Buy a steam controller :^)

Truly the greatest controller ever devised.

Only bait part was mentioning my consoles which is true
>360
My friend have one and advised strongly against it because of dead zones on analogues.
I wanted it for platformers and maybe emulation in the long run. Wireless one with grips is twice the price. I would get DS4 is they weren't full price. Next possible sale is 2 months away and I wanted to play Blasphemous.
Wired controler is okay for me, I have laptop with monitor centimeters away from me.

360 sticks can be fixed by just shaving a millimeter or so off the bezel ring around them. Not a big deal.

I have it. Don't get it, the analog sticks just get in the way. You want retro style controllers to slide around in your hands for when you want to smash buttons.

Just get an Xbox controller for modern games and a faux-SNES controller for retro. Retroflag makes some god tier SNES controllers.

The Pokken controller is unironically the greatest controller Hori ever made (except for the dumb ZL and ZR face buttons)

So is this normal for SN30 shit? I got their NES arcade stick and the damn thing has to be manually resynced at the controller menu every time I wanna play and the USB cord for it doesn't even let me play it wired.
