Nero's appearance is a nod to the supposed Roman lineage of King Arthur, she's supposed to be a distant ancestor of Arturia. Also if you played Extra you would know that it's supposed to disorient you with her similar design to Saber, this is before they started adding Saberfaces just for waifu pandering. Extra universe takes familiar cncepts from FSN and turns them upside down. Nero might seem like Saber but subverts expectations in the utter contrast of her story and personality.

You get a few for free and then have to grind your life away or pay money. The "game" underneath varies between a very shallow RPG, card battles, and ARPG garbage.

I spend my money at strip clubs these days. It feels more rewarding to actually have tits pressed up against my face during a lapdance than look at shitty animation from a phone game.

What I love is how Fate/Grand Order and sometimes Azur Lane remains the sole example of gacha gaming that apparently people can come up with despite there being literally hundreds of these games dating back to the early parts of the 2010's. Continues to make me think the actual market for this games is much smaller than I even speculated before and that yes they really do rely that much on whales and some form of brand recognition.

I could make the argument that buying any game is gambling because you can't be sure if you'll like it when you buy it, and since it's the retarded loose definition everyone uses no one can say I'm wrong unless they want to pull the rug out from under their argument

It's exploitative and terrible, but it's not gambling. You still receive something at the end. For it to be gambling, the items need to have tangible real world value and you need to be able to lose. This is how every games company under the sun gets around it. It's not technically gambling, despite how exploitative it is.
