It's EA user, it's only good if you give them all your money and even then, the PVZ series is still a casual ones. I'm just happy to wait for pvz3 and his P2W wall who will make the game requiring skill

I picked it up. They replaced classes with modular powerups you get by leveling up with exp, but the visual elements still exist as costumes ( I saw a snow pea for instance).

It's literally GW3 but it feels like they're making it ready for a potential f2p conversion which I'd welcome since I play on PC which isnt the highest player count platform for garden warfare. No transfers from 2 as far as I can tell.

Also it feels super laggy on PC and has some balance problems.. Like I'll use the soldier zombie jump and it'll take half a second to kick in.

The official launch is in a month, but this launch is called Founders Edition so it's technically an early access.

Based on my time with it, it's a massive step up from GW2 business modelwise. You can only level up by playing or with coins, and the premium currency (rainbow stars) can only be used on cosmetics.

That could change because EA, but this is basically a flat upgrade over GW1 and GW2s gameplay.

Janky as fuck on PC glitch wise but it's Garden Warfare 3 in all but name with a better business model.

No variants (apperantly maybe just visual skins now but I havent gotten any yet that I know), new models that look cartoony (Rose looks worse now),Cactus's voice got fucked from what I heard.
And dont forget,once again third time in its series,plants have an overpowered character

The only experience I had countering that character was using 80s Action Hero's bow at full charge that either kills them in 1 or 2 hits.
Most DPS zombie characters are a joke to the shroom,especially soldier. He got nerfed,Allstar is kinda weak too

Man, RIP in peace Soldier. I still try my damndest to main him like I did in the previous games, but going from 10~12 damage to 4~5 hurts so hard, and the ZPG only does what, 125?
At least Scientist is kinda fun with his AoE healing beam, not really fun to watch my whole team stuck in a choke trying to fight the 6 mushrooms on the plants though.
