Were your expectations exceeded?
DMC5
no
maybe
yes
It was pretty close but no Vergil for no reason is disappointing.
of course, it was the best character action game yet.
5CE > 5 = 3SE >= 4SE > 1 > 3 > 4 >>> *power gap* >>> DmC:DE >>> DmC >>> 2
V is not fun. He's not difficult, he's just not fun. I was really hoping for a "play any character any level" patch/new game plus mode but it's still a good game
yes
Not at all.
I expected trash and I was not disappointed
Max-Acted
Yeah desu never expected it to top DMC4 nor any other DMC game
V make the game trivial desu imo hes OP
Only if we get vergil
Absolutely
No, but seeing as how it was hyped up as the greatest action game ever I think settling for best DMC is good enough.
>bullying demons with your pets
>finishing off multiple enemies at once or in a row
>taunting while Nightmare makes the stage into complete mayhem
>quoting William Blake while the bird talks shit
>skating on your cat when you want to go fast
V is pretty fun.
>V is not fun. He's not difficult, he's just not fun.
The problem with V is that they made him way too button mash friendly.
Itsuno got cold feet over his playstyle so he just made him overly OP so that people would hopefully like him more. When in reality he should have been the hardest character.
They were very close to being exceeded, it's just a shame that V is not his own characters or doesn't have a better moveset with more demons (Phantom and Nelo Angelo as alternate DT would have been great).
Don't really want to come back to it like I usually do with DMC3 though, everytime I boot it up I just play 5 mins before stopping
get a real job shill
nice
Sorta. It was really good but missing some stuff that would've made it exceed.
Like Vergil's 4th kimono goth coat
that image scares me
I hope if we get a playable Vergil, he actually gets a regular DT beside his sin DT, i really digged his DMC4 esque DT in the concept art.
It came close, but no. Hype killed it mostly, I came to expect a lot, but once I started playing the feeling of true satisfaction was somehow not there.
The graphics still weird me out a little bit and make me feel like I'm not playing a game. As someone who's not at all waifupilled I wanted to just sit in the van listening to the cute music with the tattooed girl.
If the storyline was a little more cohesive from the start it would be better. Braided narratives SUCK
god, why are over-the-shoulder jackets so cool
you will not forget
I actually played through and beat it and had fun so yeah it was probably the only new game in a few years that I've done that with
Was really let down, in fact. While the overall quality had increased, the game just wasn't fun oir challenging. It was basically DmC2. All movie, no game.
The multiplayer parts surprised the hell out of me and were definitely fun but it's such a tiny nothing part of the game that got 0 fleshing out. Then even BP mode sucked and that was my last hope for the game actually having something worth playing in it.
Was not a game made for real DMC fans. Was just a DmC fellatio.
Take out V and you got a good game, he's just boring and annoying to play.
No, but I was probably expecting a lot more than was reasonable.
>It was basically DmC2
Can you name me what about the game made you feel like it's DmC2? The visuals aren't the same, the gameplay aren't the same. So what was it?
I'm sad to say it, but no. It was actually disappointing. I was ready to overlook all the flaws that bothered me when the game announced by being optimistic and in hopes that the final package will outshine them. Unfortunately this did not happen. If this was all they could come up with after a decade, then I have little hopes for the next possible installment, at least with the same development team.
Imagine if Urizen kept this look in the third fight
yes. Itsuno never disappoints
this
and Dante in 5 is the most complex, varied and fun character in the entire genre
