I misread that as WWI what a letdown that was.

Sorry mate :(

I hope there will be mods for this game, but as of right now no WWI of course

Isnt it more of a simulator than something like BF? Not a fan of the super realistic ones.

Mmm, its more like BF1942 than a simulator... It's almost completely unlike things like ARMA and so on. Much more action, the game is designed to have you always close to the fight not pissing around pretending you're a real soldier. Still very much a game!

>Early Access
>online only
It gonna be dead really soon.
I don't get why indies do this shit, make some bots or something so that I know that I can buy and play the game anytime instead of buying a game with bugs that by the time it's fixed, if ever, there won't be any players to play with.
I'm still amazed no one made a game where you have a side with players or mix of players and AI VS AI that manages itself like an RTS AI.
The closest to it is Men of War

Depends what you call dead... I can only see the playerbase growing to be honest. Communities starting to pop up every couple of weeks, good vibes for now really!

Bots would be cool though I must admit. Always adds another option. Haven't played Men of War I must admit, any good?

>player & role levels
are they now trying to diluting the already shitty gameplay by adding even more shitty rpg system?
It also requires EAC rootkit which causes nothing but even more problems

yeah no thanks I'll stick to Squad

Has there been an update?
I remember it getting released way too early

>shitty gameplay

If you say so... I love the gameplay personally.

What is not to like?

Squad is awesome too but not WWII!

2 major updates and 6 minor patches/hotfixes IIRC.

How does it compare to RO2

Feels a lot like RO2 in some respects, graphics especially, the gunplay as well. It's set out on bigger maps than RO2 though which allows for proper combined arms. Devs have designed it so it doesn't become tediously large to navigate the map, but it's not as run and gun as RO2.

As someone who loved the shit out of RO2 its very enjoyable and I do notice quite a few other minor similarities.

How are tanks , both handling and shooting?

I would played it if someone bought for it, is it even compared to PS? It ran like shit back when it was free like a year or two

another channel to the youtube blocker monster

>RTS
where are RTS elements?

>western front
"nyet"

Nothing like Battlefield. Much heavier, but the controls are intuitive. Much better if you have 2 men in the tank. Solo tanking not advised.

PS is technically a good milsim but a different kettle of fish to HLL. HLL is a lot more "fun" and a lot less "simulator".

The resources meta game which admittedly is not very fleshed out at the moment. Lots of tinkering going on there but basically there's manpower/fuel/resources that your commander needs to manage with his squad leaders to ensure your army doesn't fall to shit like the Germans did in WWII...

How is it on a scale of realism/autism from RO2 to Squad?

How much cooperation is required to win a match?

Is playing by yourself (aiding your team but without VOIP or any kind of planning) feasible?

For me personally, right in the middle. It's the perfect compromise. Community is about 50/50 split between the types of people who played RO2 and those who play Squad, if that gives you any idea.

>How much cooperation is required to win a match?

Much more than you would ever need in Battlefield. It's a platoon/squad based type game, so on the whole you should be looking to link up with others. Even if its not using a mic, find other ways to communicate. Mic preferred but far from essential.

>Is playing by yourself (aiding your team but without VOIP or any kind of planning) feasible?

Very much so.
