You do know that not everyone is an american or cares aobut american politics? I grew playing many games where my country was always the big red scare. Which to say the least is retarded, but at the same time I have enough of a brain to understand that it's just videogames and majority of them have fuck all to do with historic accuracy or even correctly dealing with today's politics.

No one makes an actually good RTS these days, no one's making LucasArts-style point and click adventure games without fucking it up, if anything everyone seems to be obsessed with making Sierra-type adventure games.

I suspect we need to do an "adjusted for inflation" rating system, so games like Mario 64 and all the others get 10 to 15 extra points depending on when they released, breaking the scale.
They're all decent games, but if you missed out on them, you didn't miss much.
If you missed SNES to PS2 era including all that happened on PC, you were basically never a true gamer even if you played 1500 games from PS3 onwards.
