You gotta stop this my man. You can’t keep living like this
6 more hours till final fantasy trailer
I miss 4amposting. I did lose control of my life though.
Trying to apply for jobs more, I can't live on $95 a work day but I don't live anywhere near jobs that provide benefits and can't afford the move either
Going to my residency permit interview in a few days. If I don't get it, I don't what I would do
Literally my life as I know it depends on that
Who else here /tired college student/
I'm trying the best I can to work ahead of my classes so I have more time for vidya later in the semester, but fuck is it soul draining.
Only 2 and a half more semesters to go...
at least you can bring yourself to go to class
this is my third time doing my 4th year of classes. i really just do not care about any of it anymore cause at the point where im at now i can continue at this pace and live the wagecuck life almost indefinitely, i make more than i spend and i dont care to do much more than this. ill probably graduate this year so my parents and sisters stop heckling me but man the willpower it takes me to put effort into anything these days seems so far out of reach. most times i set my alarm for class, check it, take some sleeping pills and go back to bed and skip everything except for my mandatory labs, and exams when they come. im beyond lazy and unmotivated
I've wasted my life
you fuckers are going to miss college after you graduate. Trust me
Its 12:00 in israel
doubt, this will be my second degree, which is probably why i dont care as much about it
I haven't been hugged in 9 years.
How do I know if I'm clinically depressed. Because I think I am, but I've had similar feelings in the past and they've always gone away eventually after whatever upset me went away.
i am tired of traveling. i just finished a 36 hour trip last week coming from the backwater goatfucking other side of the world and as soon as i am starting to feel rested, it is now 0352 and i am getting on another plane.
i just finished golden sun 1&2, beat dullahan and all the secret bosses. it was fun.
Self-diagnosing should be avoided, including for dismissing your suspicions. That said, it's really easy to imagine that you're assigning all the weight of the depressive episode to something that isn't actually fully (or maybe even partially) responsible. Very common.
how old are u?
I don't miss it at all. I don't even have a good job either.
it’s 3am tho
>been up for several 4am threads in a row
>on break phoneposting cause I'm a third shift factory wage slave
At least it pays well. Fuck I just want to go home, masturbate, and play some video games.
>How do I know if I'm clinically depressed
talk to a shrink.
I just woke up.
People said that about high school and I sure as fuck don't miss that hell hole.
>at least you can bring yourself to go to class
I'm exclusively an online student. I'm not driving an hour to class and back every day and paying 500 dollars a semester for the "privilege" of parking, just to run the risk of theft/mugging since my college campus is located right next to one of the most dangerous parts of the city.
I'd recommend some online classes if you have access to them user.
Doubt it. The amount of anxiety and stress that I feel every week is so tiring.
>how much homework will I get this week?
>can I get it done in time?
>will I be good enough to complete the work?
>what if I fail this assignment?
>will I be able to remember this stuff long enough for the tests?
This is only exacerbated by my realization of how much money is on the line if I fail.
I can't wait until I start working again, so I can leave work at work and not feel guilty about playing video games in my free time instead of studying.
this
fuck working holy shit just kill me please
College is literally work except you don't get paid for it.
My wageslave retail job sucked, but at least I got rewarded for it every two weeks. Now I'm exhausted AND broke.
Also, physical exhaustion > mental exhaustion
>literally work
no, and not nearly enough as stressful
yes I agree physical exhaustion is better than the mental one, but that doesn't mean much if you get an office job since that's you studied for
Hello my friends.
The way I see it is that if I fail at work, the worst thing that happens is that I get fired, and I would imagine it would take many failures in order to get fired. While it doesn't do any favors for my resume, I could always find another job, maybe even one that's more enjoyable and a better fit for my skills.
If I fail at college, I just wasted 4-5 thousand dollars and I have to pay another 4-5 thousand just to have the chance to try again. Not to mention academic probation, loss of scholarships/financial aid, and the possibility of expulsion.
If I fail a job, there's still other jobs. If I fail at college, I won't get another chance.
Greetings
This is interesting user. Today I made a production change and I don't know if by this time tomorrow the government will be short a few hundred grand to a few million in taxes because of me.
I don't know about burdgerland, but we're given quite a lot of chances to fix fuckups on our tests and even then you can still fail some classes and just take them again next year (along with new ones)
>the worst I can do is get fired
must feel great to not have anxiety and not having to constantly worry what people think of you
While your potential screw up is far larger proportionally, mine is just as large in my own mind. Anxiety is anxiety, and can feel overbearing no matter how insignificant the fear actually is, or if it even actually happens. It's the potential threat of it that's so stressful.
I failed a class once in community college and was put on academic probation. I was forced to take the semester off and threatened with removal of any financial aid, and even expulsion if I didn't improve my GPA
>must feel great to not have anxiety and not having to constantly worry what people think of you
I went through enough wageslave retail jobs to stop caring about what people thought of my work performance. My work always out-shined most of theirs. I'm far from anxiety free however.
I might actually end up on the psychotropics because I'm that fucked up in the head.
welp...
AND I'M STILL AWAKE WRITING THIS SONG; IF I GET IT ALL DOWN ON PAPER IT'S NO LONGER I SIDE KF ME THREATENING THE LOFE IT BELONGS TO.
I honestly wonder if I should go talk to a doc about it which most likely would put me up on some drugs
I just fear they'll fuck up with my performance and will to do anything even more
getting a gf won't fix what's wrong with you
I've been in a relationship for 4 years, and while that small aspect of my life is great, I'm just as neurotic as ever about everything else. Now there's just an added worry that my neuroticism will one day drive her away.
im happy, i fucking suck shit at video games but im having fun playing contra
>9/11 is old enough to post on Yea Forums
user you're flying a plane into my heart.
I just wish I can stop masturbating. I don't even play games anymore, I just want to study my Udemy course so I can actually have any marketable skill and get my degree. But no, it's hard as balls to find motivation. Will going outside and do my work there even make any difference?
Find a psychologist/therapist user. Even if a psychologist wanted to, they don't have the legal capacity to put you on anything, only a psychiatrist is qualified to prescribe medications.
There's various cognitive behavioral therapies, as well as other techniques that can potentially improve abnormalities you may be facing. Medication is only a necessity in extreme situations, such as those suffering from schizophrenia or bipolar disorder.
