What the FUCK was that game called?

Do you have any games from your childhood/memory that you just can't fucking remember what it was?

Post here and other anons will help.

chibi sidescroller beat em up game where you can play as ultra man, kamen rider or godzilla

a mech battle game on the original xbox, had a campaign and possibly local mp

Phantom crash?

>Fighter game
>probably N64
>mortal kombat style fighting/healthbars/2d
>characters were all grungy/dirty "monsters"
>one guy was like a fish who vomited acid
>another guy had helicopter-blades and shot fire
>some randumb hot skinny girl thrown in there
>game had a very "radioactive" aesthetic to it

used to play with my neighbor as kids. no fuckin idea what it is

Attached: 1564123133908.jpg (360x360, 22K)

Can I hijack this thread real quick for an /f/ question?
Does anyone remember that one flash video of a one armed girl and her boy side kick in a wild west scene doing some actiony shit?
This has been haunting the back of my mind for fucking ever.

Fucking fantastic game

Attached: 51FDAD76A3L._AC_SX430_.jpg (372x500, 47K)

There was one edutainment CD-ROM game I played, the main character looked kind of like a Berenstain bear and he had a partner of some kind, I forget what he looked like. I remember there being a "scary story" minigame and a woodshop game that taught fractions.
Pic unrelated

Attached: 1567632530233.png (1039x1008, 845K)

youtu.be/XQIkZOQgZp8

If this isn't what youre talking about I'll eat my fucking mousepad

Attached: 1565060310840.jpg (807x654, 84K)

it was a 2d platform game on pc, and i remember it had a giant toaster in it

oh wait found it lol - Mech Assault (2, I think)

A Pokemon parody flash that could be reached from the AOL welcome screen sometime around 1999-2000

I remember the loading screen was a test tube that filled up with blood. The actual game had different locations you could click on and see Pikachu get killed. One of those was you see Pikachu get trampled by pedestrians in a city (Saffron probably)

3 games from school computer lab
>First one was some sort of funhouse/warehouse with mini-games and all being led by a cute girl in overalls.
>Second one was some gnome hiker climbing up to the top of a snowy mountain top going through math mini-games like level the scale.
>Final one was some sort of medieval castle with fractions with some sort of goblin theme.

holy shit thank you

Attached: 1556323342196.png (1177x900, 739K)

It looked like an Atari game. You played as a little Indian dude and all you do is try and climb up a tree as much as you can to rack up points. I think you had to dodge things like snakes or apples or something.

Another game where you play as a guy with a yellow hardhat and you climb ladders into different platforms to avoid enemies. The level would just be one screen with like three or so platforms. I think you could kill enemies by dropping things on them? I'm not sure.

from preschool (lol) an educational game in the vein of freddiefish or w.e tf, but I think some portions were halloween themed

It’s a puzzle game set in a haunted mansion/graveyard in which you have to get a little ghost guy from the left side of the level to the right using springs and bombs and other items. The game was probably made in the very early 2000’s and while the backgrounds were detailed the ghost guy was fairly simple with a purple and white color scheme from what I remember. It was also a game from the wildtangent service if anyone remembers that. I was able to find every other wildtangent game I played but I can’t find this one.

Attached: 47E076DE-2B76-4839-9B8C-CE85E8A84535.jpg (405x254, 77K)

It was a flash adventure game where you played as a seed that had fallen from a tree and you traveled across the world solving puzzles by magically turning into different forms; e.g. a leaf (?) to be picked up and carried around by the wind, or into a coconut tree that would drop a heavy coconut inflicting damage on anything beneath you. I can't for the life of me remember what it was called.

It was a 2d platform for the snes
You played as a kid that got turned into a blue ball

You could transform into animals

slightly off topic, did anyone ever complete both Fancypants 1 and 2 lmao

smart ball?

ps2 game that was third person and melee focused, first level was a sewer or something i think or maybe a dungeon, pretty positive there was water though
also pretty positive it was a no name series/game not anything popular

it was about a dude with no arms or legs, but he had floating hands and feet, it was some kind of villain that looked like flies and robed men in some kind of well inside some central cave.

The first dungeon in Dark Cloud 2/Dark Chronicles was a Sewer

Claymates nigga

Dark Native Apostole?

>Sega Genesis
>sidescroller platformer sci-fi adventure
>MC looked like Pajama Sam but he wasn't

Attached: 1e08gn.jpg (640x360, 26K)

Do you know what platform the second game was on? Your description reminds me of Lode Runner but I'm not aware of a version with a yellow hardhat, there are a lot of different versions out there though

You are a lifesaver, thank you

Interesting, might give a try

PS1, arcade racing game, you could race underwater and modify your car in size to like double for some reason. There was a shark car I remember, and powerups. Maybe a scorpion car.

it was this first person pacman clone, but instead of ghosts it had this spooky ass clown thing that made some eerie noise/laughing if it was close? some of these details might not be right, but that's all i have. gave me a nightmare or two as a kid

Attached: 1455802974778.png (600x782, 513K)

Boogerman

I'd be forever grateful if anyone could tell me the name of this game.
I've been looking forever for it.
The game was a about a king, a knight and a wizard (and perhaps some more people) who go look for the missing princes.
The only thing I remember from the gameplay, is that at the very end there was a sequence where you were on a raft/boat and had to move left or right to dodge things in the water.
At the end of the game, it was explained that the princes never left the castle and that she did it because she fell in love with the knight.

I remember a game about racing cars and sexy ladies, every lady had her own car. developer had 'sun' in its name.

Is the second one Treasure Mathstorm?

It came with a Taco Bell meal. It was on a floppy disk. Identical to arcade Donkey Kong but Taco Bell themed. Hopping over peppers and nachos and such rather than barrels. I want to say you play as a little cactus or something. I have never found proof that it ever existed.

Attached: 1510541388703.jpg (640x637, 91K)

rayman you nibba

No it wasn't Boogerman. Boogerman looks nothing like Pajama Sam. The MC was a small blue-ish alien kid.

Sunsoft Grand Prix?

oh and if i recall right the clown had also these very sharp teeth. game was probably shareware aswell

there was a NES game with a link-like female protagonist with green hair, can´t remember the name of the game, anyone knows what game is it?

Attached: 1567745225462.gif (75x80, 146K)

Was an N64 fighting game, was all brutal and shit like MK. Had "fatalities" or something like it, and had a giant dude with a flaming sword, a skeleton dude, a monk, and a couple other guys. Used to play it a lot with my brothers.

It's a puzzle game where you play as a marble ball and solve puzzles by moving cubes, pressing switches and changing your properties (making yourself more bouncy to get to a higher place, etc) I remember the worlds being skyboxes at a specific time of day (day, evening, night)

Attached: 1D8CE565-F607-4230-83A0-E090184F5E26.jpg (450x563, 89K)

It was on PS1, it was a halloween themed game in a cartoonish style with zombies and frankensteins running around. I think it was a sandbox game.

I think it was a shooter, though I don't know if it was 1st or 3rd person, circa 2000 give or take three years. You were some kinda bug/alien dude and the only thing I really remember was that you were supposed to hunt down some other bug/alien thing as a meal for some asshole king bug/alien guy's daughter, and once I managed to grasp the incredibly difficult tasks of moving, aiming and shooting to kill something, he said it wasn't big/good enough (or maybe the daughter said that). I think there was also a hologram of some bug/alien person too.
What little I played of it looked like it was on Dantooine from KOTOR, yellow-green-brown grass with ruins and shit. There might have been puddles too.

One of the first games I remember playing on PC was one where the view was behind I think either a jet or a helicopter and you had to shoot and avoid the stuff coming toward you, like a top-down arcade game but from behind. I remember part-way through the level you'd collect a bomb and you couldn't shoot anymore until you made it to the boss and one-shot them with it.

KI Gold?

Games I played on school pc's back in elementary school Approx. 2001.

1. Play as a robot going through a farm. There's one area where you need to jump over a river to continue if you touch the water game over. Idk what else.

2. I think you played as a lady bug. Everything was large idk what else it might just be part of game 1.

3. Point and click adventure. Play as kids in eygpt trying to solve a mystery. Areas include an egyptian city and a place out where there are ancient egyptian structures.

I remember playing it on PC. I just looked up Lode Runner but the game I'm thinking of had a more cartoony style to it.

A game that you climb obstacles (mostly walls i think) as a shirtless, slightly humanoid (i think he was green or something) dude. I think it was a ps1/saturn game.

Attached: 1568183621402.jpg (720x728, 57K)

Killer Instinct Gold?

Third person game with a shit ton of different characters you could play as like a cowboy, biker, cop, etc. The enemies were purple aliens and the colors purple and green showed up a lot

Nah, I don't think it was that. I remember that you could move all around, not just forward and backwards. And (I think) it had some guy with "knight" in their name.

Was it this: kongregate.com/games/customlogic/sprout ?

Some racing game on the ps1, all that I remember is that it had a yellow tow truck and that it felt like Nascar Rumble

Just looked through the whole Genesis library online and I could not find the damn cover art.

Attached: 1442604426849.jpg (670x503, 38K)

Mace the Dark Age?

Some DOS-era/early windows sidescroller shooter, similar to duke nukem or bio menace. Except you're playing as some kid and the enemies are evil teddy bears.

A first person shooter only you shot lightning from your finger. I remember there was an enemy resembling a human-sized t-rex without eyes standing over an npc dead on the ground.
The game was on a floppy disk and had a turok ad on the loading screen.

one of my favorites, user

Attached: 220px-NES_Arkistas_Ring.jpg (220x302, 36K)

Mace: The Dark Age? Character named Hell Knigiht

some racing game with cartoony characters, i think it was on ps1

only detail i remember was from the intro with one of the bitch characters demanding her dad buy her go kart from a store or something

Attached: 4b862d5b1aad10a65ae095364560717a.png (331x299, 114K)

Thank you! Gonna either buy it or emulate it. Wanna play it again.

>wireframe racing game
>first person
>slow acceleration
>you can buy guns that attach to your car
>if you blow the other guy up you win

nah neither of those, it was very gritty graphics wise thanks anyways
i barely remember anything about it other than i borrowed it from my cousin for like 2 days

Some Side scrolling game on the Dreamcast, one of the stages had you fighting on a flying limo

And yeah, that was his name. I remember playing as him and the skeleton dude a lot.

HOLY FUCK, I have been looking for this shit for like 2 years, thanks a lot user

Attached: 354634532.gif (215x323, 2.02M)

Some kind of Arkanoid-ish game on the PS1. It was on a demo disc together with Tomba and Kula World.

I came here to describe this text-adventure game that I played back when I was in high school but I ended up finding it.

Attached: peasants quest sc.jpg (600x370, 32K)

Reminds me of Silhouette Mirage, but it was only on Saturn/PSX.

PS2 Game
RPG
It was board based
maybe card based too?
One of the lines one character said was something like "He's a priest, not a fighter!" or something like that
It was a very long time ago, but every once in a while I remember those few vague things from it

How about Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance

Not him but I also played some educational game with characters that kind looked like the purple guy from McDonald's that's all I really remember from it except some mini game with jellybeans and a location that looked like a cabin

Playstation 1 rpg, it was a demo and the combat had quick time events to perform combos when it was your time. I think one of the guys you controlled screamed TYPHOON whenever you landed his combo. Near the end of the demo you fought a snake boss.

Meant to reply to

>Skyrim is now on Wild Tangent
Fucking Todd

There's one I've been looking for for a long time now. Played it back in about 1998-1999 or so, on the computers in the library at school. You were the pilot of a ship that was shrunken down and injected into a human body, you had to fight off little viruses and shit. It was first person, but there was no forward movement and the enemies advanced toward you slowly, like Space Invader if it were first person.

It wasn't Microcosm, although there are some similarities. The graphics were really cartoony though, really bright and colourful. Seriously never been able to remember the name of it though.

>mid to late 90s pc game (dos?)
>first person viewpoint
>objective was to collect different colored keys to get through a maze (?) or something
>i remember one of the enemies was a big blue monster with an orange mouth
>might have been a shooter

PC 2D sidescrolling shooting game, like blackthorn but had the speed of something like doom or quake probably late 90s I remember playing a shareware version of it

It had an edgy one word title if I remember right. Something like punishment or forsaken, something like that.

>PS 1 Blast Chamber

i never played it, but legend of legaia?

Attached: legend-of-legaia-02.png (950x720, 1.12M)

Hotwheels Extreme Racing?

Abuse

Legend of Dragoon

Attached: doubleslash.gif (500x330, 961K)

god damn bless you user

Attached: 1550199130756.png (642x657, 282K)

It was a fighting game, 2D I believe. Could be anything from SNES to PS2. There were fatalities like in mortal kombat. I vividly remember there were two Double Dragons-like characters as well as some sort of skeletal pirate dude.

Ok now that sounds like Killer Instinct

Killer Instinct?

played it on a display xbox original in a store, you played as a boat/submarine and went around a big water map attacking multiple targets under and above the water

>OG Xbox game, not sure if it was out on other platforms
>Used pre-rendered graphics, looked like claymation
>You were running around a house setting traps to prank a middle-aged guy
>Guy followed a pattern, you had to set a number of traps to finish a level
>Had pseudo-stealth elements, if you were caught you'd be beaten back to the starting point

Some PC sidescrolling platformer with an overworld map where you used teleporters to go into levels. I'm pretty sure it was a homebrew game now that I think about it.

blood wake comes to mind

>Old 90s Mactintosh computer game
>Full FMV
>Sci-fi first person point and click
>game actually came free with my family Mac, was probably 4 discs large
>man and a woman are talking to you a lot, I think you're supposed to be a computer
>distinctly remember a scene where they're attacked by small space insects and I have to shoot them

This has been driving me crazy for years.

Attached: 1369895487635.jpg (622x476, 20K)

I dunno, maybe Commander Keen? Gonna need more details

That was it thanks dude

very similar but you could turn into a submarine, I think there was way more stuff underwater than above it

>pc game
>released before 2008
>u.s. army setting/barracks
>drill sgt is a pig
>you also play as a pig(?)

i remember a 2d space shooter where you could play a local 2 play game (not sure about that), but im sure the last 2 upgrades are some lasers and then the best one is some kind of plasma launcher

Flash game where girl's abusive family commits suicide and she revives them only for them to suicide again and abandon her

Wasn't Commander Keen. You played as some guy or kid. I remember that there was a "teleporter" tube thing in the middle of an area blocked off by trees that I never found out how to get into because I was shit at the game.

genesis or snes game
blue and red teams of army dudes fighting each other
there was a kinda demoman looking dude but not black and he had dynamite as a weapon

Battle engine aquilla.

Second one may be Treasure Mountain.

Speed Punks, I had it too.

youtu.be/UcbyZkeZhuY

The Daedalus Encounter?

Neighbors from Hell, my man.

General chaos

If anyone has one of those 100-in-1 PC compilations you'd find in Office Depot or Staples in the early 2000s, There was one with a purple boogeyman type monster and I remember the first level being very purple as well. I don't remember well what he wore it might have been striped pajamas or something. It was the very first game that popped up after installing and had some creepy music.

Gay Niggers From Outer Space

It was a very shitty game that came with our old Compaq computer. It was a RTS game where you could build silo's and mechs to fight the other side. I'm thinking mid 90's.

hogs of war

Either Hogs of War or S.W.I.N.E

>Chess game
>Have to unlock pieces
>Overworld where you go from challenge to challenge
>Each challenge teaches you something new/gives you a new piece
>Fantasy theme
I swear i'm not crazy and this game existed, I just can't find anything about it.

Neighbours from Hell
store.steampowered.com/app/260750/Neighbours_from_Hell_Compilation/
Good shit

Attached: Un Vecino Infernal.jpg (300x410, 48K)

>A snowboarding game where you play as green ayy lmao and you have to score points by performing tricks and collecting spaceship parts
>A small, almost flash like game where you have to navigate a small metallic ball across the board. The only unique thing I can remember about it is that at some theme of the game changes from classic one to a fucking Terminator wannabe.

I have two.

One was a point and click adventure where you escaped from a boat and ended up in a house. You were in shackles and shit? This was all in the beginning.

And the second one takes place in space and it was 3D. uh, one level had a black hole that you had to rescue some cargo from?

Attached: 1554411573730.jpg (720x447, 15K)

I'm pretty sure that's it, thanks man.
I have no idea how my young self even attempted that game. I do remember the guy having that goatee, funny the smallest stuff you remember

Attached: 1368931700125.jpg (276x183, 9K)

Second Mercury Meltdown maybe?

ayyy that's it
been looking for this for 20 years

Top down game on dreamcast where you shot a bunch of mechs and vehicles, Megaman was playable in it.

It was a 3D plane side scroller shmup on the PS1 or (2) and like the first level/mission is like the ocean.

Thank you, based anons.

Got a hard one for you all:
>circa 1985-1985
>PC
>pretty sure it was edutainment
>player had to track down missing puppies or kittens
>One of the scenarios was a living room that was on fire for some reason.

Attached: original-1984-mac-128k-brochure.jpg (400x276, 41K)

Cannon Spike.

Game had a vacation-based sequel which was just as good if you're interested.

It was a flash game about cooking some sort of triangle meats, i was japanese/english i still dream with that shit

Sure you're not thinking of Tigershark? Sounds exactly the same.

Attached: Tigershark.jpg (600x600, 101K)

no dice, i appreciate the suggestion though

Kula World?

Old ass pc game, graphics like adventure.

I think you were hunting a vampire in a castle and you had a squad. People would be represented by shapes, like the priest would be a cross..etc..

This is a shot in the dark, but does anyone remember a DOS or Windows 95 platformer where a robocop looking guy could shoot lasers?
It had cool music for some of the stages, and you could upgrade your lasers.

It was fucking Secret Agent holy shit. I remember I had that shit on a floppy but one of the levels was corrupted so I couldn't play past it. Helped me remember I played Chip's Challenge and other games too.

It was some sort of mech or robot combat game I believe, the main thing I remember was that you'd select abilities and one of the available ones was a self destruct, represented by a skull icon.
It was a PC game, and it may have used a special controller, but I can't remember too well.
I distinctly remember the game going for something of a realistic look, with at least one stage taking place on a sort of flat sandy area, though not a beach.
The biggest issue I have is that this is a game I wanted to play but never actually got to, as it belonged to a friend's brother and I never got to play it myself, and its been at least 12 years, for all I know the game I'm describing may not exist but I want to try since it's been eating at me for the past 5 years or so.
That's Rayman 3 dude

There was a game I played when I was a young kid in the late 90s that I can't for the life of me remember. But it's a Win 95/98 game, very much for young kids, like a video game equivalent of Dora the Explorer or Blues Clues. I remember it was set in a summer camp type environment, and all the different activities you'd expect at a camp had mini-games associated with them. There was also a central villain that the game used for a lot of mini-games. Nothing too complicated, just a grumpy guy. For example there was one mini-game where he would dump his trash in the camp lake, and you had to pick it out.

I remember that part distinctly because it's also why I stopped playing the game. I somehow figured out how to raise the difficulty level of that game to the point where it was too hard for me, and couldn't figure out how to lower it. I think the menu listed the easiest difficulty as the bad guy sleeping, and the hardest difficulty was him sprinting. Cause he had a little cabin on the hill near the lake that he'd run back and forth from to dump trash. Really wish I could remember this game, now that I've seen this thread it's bugging me.

Attached: 1561412068749.gif (500x375, 760K)

Not it, don't remember it being 3D but thank you
I looked up S.W.I.N.E and it looks similar but I do not remember it being an rts and controlling units
you played as one guy

Oh and it was a 2d side scroller. The lasers would change color when you got an upgrade.

Was it a point and click educational game, like Jump-Start? The way you started to describe it reminded me of Jump-Start Reading, but that takes place in a carnival / fair.

Steel Battalion?
Had that sort-of-ok spiritual sequel on the kinect.

Attached: steel battalion.jpg (1280x720, 76K)

Ps2 samurai or ninja game where you could customize your character before jumping into the story, and I remember that you could "buy" stuff from blacksmiths and if you didnt pay them they would try to kill you.

some space-based game
pretty sure it was some pre-installed shit on windows xp or old windows
highly doubt it was a retail game and definitely not a browser game

Way of the Samurai?

It was definitely a point and click game. I dunno if it was Jump-Start. It might've been but the characters I saw from a quick image search don't seem familiar. Maybe it was some kind of Jump-Start rip-off? My dad was pretty cheap. That said it was over 20 years ago now and maybe I've just forgotten everything except for that one specific mini-game I mentioned.

Space Cadet Pinball, user.

Sounds like an Apogee game,

Attached: menace_007.jpg (640x480, 244K)

Timeframe of when you played?

There is a JumpStart Camp game.
jstart.fandom.com/wiki/Camp_Readalot

Sorry, PC, late 90's/early 00's.

Does it have the blacksmith thing? Everytime someone brings that game up they never say if it does

It was a PS1 platformer that i thought was a journey to the west or even sonson, lots of swinging and i don't exactly remember if it's a 2.5D or 3D platformer

Controller looks similar but I think the game was in 3rd person, the mechs looked more along the lines of gundam type humanoid mechs as well I believe

Battle chess?

G-Darius?

OH FUCK THIS IS IT. That main map screen hit my brain like a bolt of lightning. There we go mystery solved.

youtube.com/watch?v=Yx8r6uyLLnA

Attached: 1528344680690.gif (300x225, 1.92M)

>ps1 game
>2D platform, or maybe another genre but the movement is similar to 2D flatform
>Not 3d just 2d, since my memory about ps1 game with 3d graphic is very vivid.but kinda look like "neighbours from hell" but with lower resolution, it's a ps1 game anyway. Or maybe more similar to the first "escape from monkey island".
>Character is a kid or a chibi style adult I don't know.
>The most memorable aspect is that the death animation is pretty gruesome, at least based on 10 years old kid standard. There is one scene where main characters got melt down by acid, and in a water level, he get suck in by something look like evil flower and then the monster puke his shoes out.

check out thunder force v user

Not sure about that myself, sorry.

Sounds like Little Howie's Fun House: The Great Math Adventure

Yes! Thank you so much!

No. This was more like an rpg, but instead of getting items/stats you got pawns and rooks and stuff. You moved a character around the map to each area, and AI opponents were named and had voice lines.

I remember an old arcade game about blue rats that dropped off from buildings and they could bounce back.
I remember that game fondly but can't remember the name.

just yesterday I discovered the name of a game I used to play when I was really young and eluded me until now
>Dark Angael

all thanks to myabandonware.com

Attached: hqdefault.jpg (480x360, 20K)

Heart of Darkness.

The one with the shadow people enemies, right? I know the game you're talking about but can't remember the name. There's always clips in webm threads.

Was this in way of the samurai 1 on ps2? Never owned a ps3, so I know it wasnt 4

...

This was a shareware game from back in 2000-ish. Used to download it from CNet on my school computer. It was a card game, it had 1 or 2 cards locked behind a paywall. I don't remember much else because I think I'm confusing it with another card game. There may have been a wall and tower involved.

Couldn't tell you. Anything I try to dig into "Way of the Samurai blacksmith" brings me only to 4.

>one of the PC games that dad would pirate for me when I was underage, might have been shovelware
>sometime around the first half of the last decade
>vertical shmup
>you fly a yellow and gray space ship
>arcade style shot upgrades
>you start in space, then one of the levels is the stratosphere and then you're near the planet's surface

Than you all, it's Heart of Darkness.

PS1 game. Looks like a mature a Link to the Past clone. Guy looks like an elf, I think.

Alundra.

Holy shit, thanks. I loved that game

Worth a shot
Thanks at least

I remember a few Wild Tangent demos.
One had you play as a mech underground, it was a top down shooter. You had to gun down giant bugs.
Another was a 3D space shooter game played from first person. You had to defend a big space ship and shoot down aliens. The aliens and your teammates could radio in to you with your team making fun of you if you did poorly or congratulating you if you shot guys down.

You're welcome, senpai, good taste.

ok hol the fuck up this one's insane
>Played this computer game at the Exploratorium in Berkeley, CA 16 years ago. It might have been exclusive to the museum but I'll keep going.
>Visual style is simplistic like a flash game made for gradeschool children.
>It's about taking care of a lab mouse that's white and had this (I think) Igor accent.
>You solved these problems to keep the mouse healthy but if you got problems wrong he'd get more and more sick.
>Bringing out the sadist in me, I intentionally got them wrong. His two responses that I remember is him hacking and saying "excuse me!" and then going dizzy like Lazlo from Camp Lazlo in the Sea Lamprey episode and the lab mouse says "I see cheese! Beautiful cheese! I am so hungry!"
>I wanted to do this until he died but mom told me it was time to leave.

Atomaders?

It's not from my childhood and I'm not sure if it's even a game, but I remember seeing a short clip on youtube from something that looked like a PS2 era game. It's been probably close to 10 years since I saw it and my memory's a bit hazy but basically.
>the environment is something like a dock in a metropolitan area, I think there were skyscrapers in the background
>it's nighttime or at least late evening
>a character, possibly the player character, spawns into the level through a teleporter or something
>immediately gets some sort of a message, not sure if it was a Deux Ex style infolink that actually happened in-universe or if it was just a UI message to the player
>the message is very brief and basically just ominousy states that some sort of a monster is approaching the player's location
That's all I remember. Like I said I'm not sure if it's even a game, but it certainly looked like one. I doubt it was a movie or anything but it might have been some sort of a small animation created by some hobbyist.

A McIntosh 2 game (I think) that was black and white with a dither effect, where you were exploring a castle in first-person, I remember there being giant rats? And like puzzles or keys or something, it was a punishing game if you didn't go the right way or you didn't react quickly to things.

You moved around on a 3D space, and you could lay traps on tiles. You had a basic pistol that had infinite ammo but it didn't do much damage. You had to fight another opponent too.

alright no one will know what this shit is called. and honestly i don't even really care about this game. it is just the only childhood/memory game that i never managed to find.

- the game looked 3D (or maybe fake 3D, but believable to fool a kid)
- seemed point and click. the character couldn't move freely. he was stuck in steps/animations, but it didn't look like the grid you would find in Grimrock for example
- first person (or playing in first person was an option)
- i think the "inventory" was the main character "underwear". he would look down to pick a bunch of items that couldn't possible fit in his underwear and solve puzzles
- the art was cartoony. like full cartoony. thick lines, flat colours and maybe some shading (not sure). no real actors
- the setting looked like a haunted house
- lots of hidden passages
- lots of interactive/animated objects

i have always wondered if this could be something as dumb as a "rugrats" game but i think that was an original IP. not licensed, just cartoony. and if i am not mistaken it was kinda adult too despite the looks

It was a flash game from newgrounds.
A sidescroller runner where you played as a wizard. On each stage you unlocked new spells to overcome new obstacles.

Player controlling a futuristic plane to do ground attacks while 2 armies fight it out. Best part was blowing up a squad of enemy soldiers, or watching them die from an enemy tank.

Unfortunately that's not it.

>a racing game
>kinda cartoony
>it had a boost meter maybe
>I rememberd there being a jungle map and a an airport map, I think the airport map was the last map
>the cars I remember were an jeep looking thing, an ambulance and a a charger looking black car that was OP as fuck
I played with my brother on PC. He don't remember it.

It was some point and click game.had a sequel and I think more after that but i didnt play much of them. Storywise i think its something like the main character's husband was kidnapped by a witch who cursed a town to sleep and you go around the empty town doing puzzles n shit. 2nd game i remember you had to go up a tower you didnt have to go up and just go in a tree.

ps1 game where you play as a pirate ship i think it was included on the t-rex demo disc

It was like a breakout type game set in some fantasy medieval setting where you got to villages i think and fight monsters as they run around

First one is Math Workshop (probably the original 1995)
Second one is Treasure Mathstorm
Don't know the third

Hope you get your answer, I still have extremely vivid memories of so many flash games that I'll probably never find

Toast of War?

Blackhawk striker?

Re-volt, maybe?

A mega drive game where you control a helicopter in a desert and you need to save soldier/kill enemies, i played thaat shit a lot.

It's a JRPG on the PS1.
Forgot the gameplay but the characters move around in 3D rendered worlds.
Top view perspective.
Game slows down sometime when moving around.
You have a persistent compass on the screen.
Compass points to the exit and will rotate rapidly when you're close.
You can press the L2 or R2 buttons to point the compass to the entrance as well.

Desert Strike, my nigga

Overboard.

PC Adventure game with puzzles. 3D Cartoonish graphics similar the Sam and Max games by Telltale, similar gameplay too.
You start in a casino with the mob outside your door trying to break in and you have to escape out into an alleyway as they shoot at you. You escape into the sewers and eventually break into jail and then have to find another way to break out again and you wind up in a deserted area in the middle of nowhere. Then you gotta get into racing and win car races while also doing typical puzzle game shit. I loved this game but I cant for the life of me remember what it was called.

sorry, no.

Reminds me of Runaway, but probably not it.

Wild Arms 2?

The one who posted this - it MIGHT be Radical Castle? I remember it being a little darker/spookier but I was like 4-5 at the time. It honestly might've just been the crazy noises.

no, it was less mechanical looking and more otherwordly, if that makes sense

>ps1 JRPG
>I watched an adult play Jap version so not sure if it's ever get Eng ver.
>90s anime art style, 2d game.
>I only remember there is a cut-screen, but they still use in-game model. Kinda like persona 3-4, with textbox and character portrait below.
>One dude get eaten by mobs (judging by his portrait, he is named character), the mobs were standing in two legs and look like your typical Japanese ghost. There is blood in floor, but not anything gruesome, because the mob were all cover his body. Other characters come in, and one character so angry he transform into his powered form. He got pointy and bigger armor I think.

No, that's not it I'm afraid

It was some crime or mystery game. Third person I believe (or first person that went into third person for cut scenes).

It was on the PC but had N64 like graphics - so it released around that time. The only memory I have is watching my friend play it, walking around a dark city and then getting into a cutscene conversation with a guy with an elephant trunk on his face. That's all I remember.

It was a PS1 game and the opening cinematic was some weird shitty CG animation with some guy watching TV at night drinking cans of beer and then the apocalypse happens. The first level takes place in some hell valley. It was one of my first games as a kid and it scared the shit out of me but now I'm interested in finding it again.

Evil Twin?

The N64 graphics is throwing me off but...

Under a killing moon? One of the dudes you question is a mutant with a trunk.

Very nice, thanks.

I watched my brother played a fantasty puzzle game on the SNES. Character is a blonde kid that shoots stars with an awkward attack animation. He fights typical fantasy monsters with what seems to be hard puzzles.

Guardian Crusade mb?

No. Game starts with the MC kid kicked out of the house for messing some things. English dubbed. Colorful graphics. That's about it

PS2 game where you played a bald guy with psychic powers, at the start you're breaking out of some glass container or something. 3rd Person view, I think.

Psi-Ops or Second Sight.

Pretty sure that's Second Sight youtube.com/watch?v=0GBYOq6XawM

I mean, it plays like Zelda with the blonde kid entering dungeons, fighting monsters, solving puzzles. His main attack is shooting stars

>What I can only describe as a collection of minigames
>Probably a promotional game for a minivan (Possibly a SEAT or Peugeot)
>Only sections I remember is a James Bond parody of sneaking into a building, and an arcade shooter
>It's been more than 10 years since I played it
I've even went to their website and looked for minivans from ten years ago and tried to see if any of those would have a game related to it.

Holy shit, that's it. Thanks anons.

N64 - A fighting game involving (possibly chalk) drawings that have come to life and fight on behalf of the kid that drew them.

Don't remember anything more.

Not from my childhood but a really weird game I remember seeing on game trailers from over a decade ago.

I'm like 99% sure it was a Russian horror/fps game with pretty bad 3d graphics. In the trailer there were several mutants/monsters which only really showed a guy in a straightjacket with a long spear coming out, tucked into his armpit. I've made a really bad mock up to show it.

I remember seeing it on game trailers but will never remember the name. I think it was something like "Too Human" but I know that's a totally different game so I don't remember it. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Alisia Dragoon.

You are Empty?

gonna need more than that to work with

thanks family might 1cc it tonigt

Sci-fi ship piloting game that was most likely for either the ps2 or original xbox. Most of the battles seemed to take place on planets and not in space but i can't be sure. I do remember you had the ability to tractor beam stuff like turrets behind your ship in battle.
I will be forever grateful.

I once played a game at an Arcade I can't remember the name of, but it's still stuck in my mind:
It was a Shoot 'em Up with static screens (Shooting gallery gameplay like Wild Guns). You started out as a radical 90s kid with a skateboard and a gun (Player 2 was a fat 90s kid), moved left and right to avoid bullets and shot alien invaders in some sort of hangar. You eventually got out of there and into a spaceship but it still had the same gameplay. I vividly remember the visuals but I can't find it on the internet.

I keep forgetting the name of the game where you play as Polterguy which is this kid who became a ghost and he haunts a rich family. I have to look it up any time I want to talk about it.

That's not it. MC is a kid with short blonde hair and he's probably a mage class since his only mode of attack is tossing/shooting stars at monsters

Yep, that's it. Thanks brah.

Isometric game where you fly an attack helicopter on PC. Could have been Desert Strike but I feel like I would have remembered if it was.
I also have very very vague memories of an FPS on PC but not enough to even describe it in any detail, so I guess I'll never find out what that was. Unless my dad remembers.

Isometric heli game can only be either desert strike or jungle strike.

Defender?
youtube.com/watch?v=kzNrdG9Nz98

That's it! Thanks user.

Or maybe Urban Strike?

There's two games.
Both were on an ancient PC, both had 2D pixel graphics and didn't seem to look much better than an NES game. The first was an educational game where you had to identify the bones of the human body. There might have been more to it but that might have been the only mode I played.
The other game was a side-scroller platformer where you were a woman in a church? Or castle? It wasn't a castlevania game but it had a really strong similarity, looking back.

From what I remember, the color palettes of these games weren't very extensive; usually sticking to a few blue/green/white tones.

Attached: 5b1yUG6.gif (500x500, 171K)

It was a game in 3rd person where I think you could choose 3 characters, a gentleman, a woman and a muscular guy.
Depending on the characters you choose you would start in different places, you fought against monsters and got better equipment.
Also something I remember is that with the knight you could use a blue flying sword I think and that's why I always played with him.

Under a Killing Moon. You have to get a rhinoplasty coupon to a guy that has an elongated nose.

It's apart of the Tex Murphy series of click and point mystery games.

Attached: under a killing moon.jpg (616x353, 57K)

It's pretty much latin american tf2. But it was more of a CS like gameplay, it was a free for all, its multiplayer like CS but isnt a source game, i think, it predates cs source i think.

thanks user this is totally it! I could never find it because when i tried to look it up i would get space flight game lists and this was never on it.

Nah sorry but thanks anyway

it was like a dungeon game but when u die u get choice what happened to you

Fate?

Yo I really need help finding this game

It was on the OG xbox, game was set in feudal japan and had gameplay similar to Ninja Gaiden, but you got to choose levels from a world map and each level had their own character you played as.

Anyone know anything like this?

Attached: fat_tom.png (768x576, 713K)

You were an orphan kid with no friends in a horror setting who could transform into an le edgy darkside form and shoot balls of dark power.

Lots of platforming.

Attached: 1568175536809.jpg (1186x616, 109K)

Oh hey I also need help. I played this game in 2010 I think, you start with going into some pyramid and the entrance get blocked, its 2d side view and you can swap between wizard cat and dog with different abilities, you need to complete puzzles

Heart of darkness?

Anybody know this Gamejolt game where it was a MOBA-like and you can pick your character classes as you level up outside of the game. Its made in unity btw

Holy fucking shit, you actually found it. This has been my white whale for years. I had convinced myself I'd dreamt it up.

no :/

Some pokemon type game for PS2 that was a bit more into the RPG elements for leveling your creatures stats, and you had more freedom choosing how they looked. I think it may have also had some eye-toy support for interacting with your creature?

Fuck man that's the one, thanks a bunch

Id put a pretty good bet on
Evil Twin: Cyprien's Chronicles

2. Bugdom

Trying to remember the name of a (creepypasta?) maze-like game, only remember that the game files were Windows 95-98 era with uppercase filenames and there was youtube gameplay video of it with not a lot of views.

Monster Rancher 3?

this one game has eluded me forever
>shmup on ps1
>left to right
>big flashing warning screen when bosses appeared
>pretty lasers and flashing lights all the time

unfortunately this describes almost every shmup on ps1

3D game with chibi animals with guns, saw it in a gaming magazine around 1998 so release date is probably +-2 years, most likely a PC game.

90s PC Win95 Platform game set in medieval times, the protagonist is a thief equipped with a dagger but im not that sure, black shirt black pants and short brown hair, damn i cant remember anything else

Fur Fighters?

A strategy game from mid 90s to late 90s. Very similar to Civilization 2 in terms of interface. It was definitely about war and set in modern era. Most likely turn-based.

First person mech game from ps1 Era with kind of a creepy vibe to it. You end up cut off from the rest of your squad on some space station. I think there was something about people going crazy. Had really weighty clunky footsteps in the mech which I know is a weird detail but if you know the game you know what I mean.

maybe?

youtube.com/watch?v=VETB3_h_22g

A shmup for the SNES, I believe you flew from top to bottom and before starting the game could choose from one of many powerups, with the condition that the powerup could only ever be used once. I think it was more focused on dodging obstacles than fighting enemies.
I used to play a lot of it with my mom when I was a kid, but I truly have no idea what the hell it's called, I've searched through the entire SNES catalogue looking at screenshots trying to identify it.

Cosmic Spacehead?

Is there anything more satisfying than finding one of these?

Ok
It's a turn based tactical game.
I remember the game being called "independance war", or something like that, but I couldn't find it on google.
It's very colored.
It's humans vs aliens, and forests were an important cover.
I remember it being hard.
I think the campaign allowed you to build barracks, so you could deploy more advanced unit on the next missions.
I played a demo on pc, about 20 years ago.

Double Dragon V: The shadow falls.

Old XCOM?

I remember playing a game on the ps1 where you was driving a car in first person and shooting stuff. It think you were on alien planets and such. Anyone have an idea what am talking about?

Nope that's not it, similar graphics though, could have been late-90s even.

I have the most fragmented memory ever of a diskette game on the Amiga I think.

Any guesses on something that starts with a intro of werewolf attack on a small cottage in the middle of a winter blizzard? A bloody scene.

Then it's first person and you have to rotate 90 degrees at the direction you want to go. Something in a castle where you do puzzle stuff I think. Only other thing i can remember is the overlay color going red while trapped up in a castle tower, outside on the roof. I think a skull is somewhere on the screen with the text of something to the note of "you will die in 30 seconds" and after clicking around you do indeed just die out of nowhere.

So I need help finding the name of a game i played. The game was a 3d action adventure with real time combat. I remember it taking place in a castle, but it was brightly coloured with aquite a bit of colour variety. It had multiple playable characters. There were some generic ones, but there a 2 I remember. One of them was a large fat bipedal creature with a long tail. It was either a rat or a pig. The other character I remember was a small robot. It had red and blue variants. The graphics were very primitive and it played in 3rd person. By "primitive" i mean it looked like Bubsy 3D (I know it wasn't that though). There was a cutscene which panned through a hall leading to a throne room that was red and yellow in colour.

I had only a PS1, PS2 and an original XBox at the time. My dad had some Amiga stuff as well but it was rarely used. I might have played it on a demo disc or something

Yes, that's it. It's worse than I remember it but that's it

That sounds like Mappy, except you play as a blue mouse and the enemies were cats.

A PS1 beat ‘em up game where you choose to play between 2 couples, one couple is a rather boring standard beat ‘em up protagonist and his blonde love interest (I think), the other couple is a dude in tux fighting with kicks only and girl/shota(?) fighting with a floor sweeper. I remember having tons of fun with the game but unfortunately it was during the time when I was literally illiterate.

Attached: 09EEB0AB-5B99-4E7E-B539-80CF9097ADD7.png (496x708, 448K)

There was a PS2 game and it was sick. you could morph into the ground and come up the other end of a bridge to solve a puzzle etc. It had a purple color scheme and I think you could be in some sort of mech - robot or fleshy I cannot remember. anyone know the name?

both from the 90s, PC:
>man in suit uses karate moves to break PC hardware flying at him (pretty sure this was an interactive screensaver). idle animation had him slurping his mug of coffee and it was really fucking loud. also the debris would pile up
>some MSDOS RTS game where your HQ was a giant bird robot (or was it the enemy's?) and it would deploy smaller robots as units. you could customize those smaller robots to be able to have different kinds of attacks, or walk on certain types of terrain (including legs for rough terrain and some kind of a floating base for water). you needed to salvage metal from broken robots for resources or you had to mine some kind of flashing ore node

Attached: 1553561165169.jpg (1000x908, 119K)

Ps1 game, played a demo disk of it.

Top down shooter where you controlled a space ship, VERY funky music

Crisis Beat.

I remember one level.

You were shooting a neon wireframes of animals - it was on the rails shooter. And there was a voice either prior to that or after calling 'Mortimer'.

Took me years to track it down. Got it at salvation army as a kid

Attached: 2371219-genesis_mercs.jpg (1535x2100, 2.58M)

A cartoony side scroller beat 'em up where you could pick from like 10 different chibi-like anime characters.
There'd quite a few CPU assistants running along with you all the time and helping you beat up the enemies.
Think it was a flash game.

I've got two PC games from the 90's:
>bike racing game where you can punch to your sides with different weapons, clubs or chain at least
>pretty sure the racers were 2d, levels semi-3d

>cool 3d racing game where you drive with small cars from a top down view, there were all sorts of different cars like a minibus and a taxi
>I think this was from a small studio, the game felt pretty indie even back then

there's some scientist who fucks up the world with nanobots and you have to kill him. you're flying around with a red hoverbike.

Yes, that’s the one! Thanks, user. Might give the game a try someday to see if it holds up.

An online 'game room' thing that was in a big 3D castle and you could play versions of board games, and some original board game-like games with other people online. Really reminiscient of Namco Museum.

Road Rash and Micro Machines?

Wholesome thread, everyone.

One of the better oldchool 3D beat'em ups on the PSX, not like there's much of a competition.

Game where you play as a British bimbo who goes around the world basically exploring caverns and raiding tombs, not too sure the name though, something like cave rampager

It looks very similar to road rash but the characters were more comical, with big noses etc.
Micro machines was my first guess too but it's something else, it didn't have weapons, might've had boosts though.

You played cars which shot at each other and you could "jump" into them afterwards, making them yours. It wasnt tied to races tho. It was on pc.

A bit like the above but you played some kind of "robot" which was weak on its own but you could take over enemies, using their bodies as yours. The robot alone was pretty squishy and could easily be defeated tho. I think this one was a console game, probably PSONE.

Attached: 1508362101310.jpg (248x250, 6K)

PS1 game, you played a big army(?) guy in third person, went around blowing shit up, one level was in a forest and had you following a river with a bunch of watchposts to blow up, another was in a city with a bunch of ninjas

Top down shooter game on ps1

Possibly net yahtzee game, all I remember of it was a demo I had

It had this weird graphic style sort of like a sloppier GTA1, I remember you had a handgun and you had to rescue hostages (?) and the map had loads of these "doors" that looked like chains and bullets would stack up over the floor

Machine hunter?

>Machine hunter
No, the visuals looked more like Crash Bandicoot, it was probably a game for kids, since I only remember playing it once at a friends house when we were little. It was a bit like Super Mario 64.

Some time in the early 2000s I played an old 3D Pac Man Clone that was installed on my neigbors PC. It was an old Compaq Desktop with Windows 98 he got second hand. It was simple 3D, smooth shapes, standard pac-man gameplay. The mazes were larger and the screen scrolled with your character rather than the whole map being shown at once.

The Pac-Man clones were colored balls with mouths and eyes on the sides of their heads and there were 5 to pick from, the main one was yellow and had no distinguishing features. The other 4 were two boys and two girls. The boys had caps on and the girls had bows. One of the boys was blue and one of the girls was pink. They each said "Coooool." whenever you picked them.

As you went through the levels they got bigger and they added more ghosts as you went through the game. If you loaded the empy save file on slot 1 it would take you the last level and there were like 20 ghosts or something with the King Ghost locked behind several doors you had to find keys for.

The executable file was named PACMAN RETURNS and the icon was the modern styled pac-man with nose and red gloves smiling.

I've never been able to find this game anywhere else.

>Fightan game
>Old, probably PS1 era
>Probably 2d
>Had a character that had a soccer ball that he would fight with

That reminds me of a pacman one i played...
did you ever finish your game? I remember on mine that on one stage you killed another pacman, which would trigger a cutscene of that pacman galling down a shaft to the sound of "bad to the bone"'s riff. Another thing i remember is that you could zap enemies with some sort of weapon, and after some stage you'd get infinite ammo and a voice clip would say something like "you now have one million etc etc ammo".

Rival Schools?

No I never beat mine. I remember getting to the point where one of the ghosts added to the level was a clear one with ruby eyes that was described as a hunter or an assassin.

Roberto Miura

Rival schools?

Is the latter Space Station Silicon Valley, the things you can take over in that aren't exactly enemies though unless I"m remembering wron

I used to play a lot of old point-and-click adventure games back in the DOS/Windows 95 era but I can't remember their names.

One was where you're an android on some sort of desert planet named Arth. I think there's a tower or something? You can wander around but I never got far. I think talking to someone would kill you.

The other was a horror themed one. Dark, spooky courtyard in a town I think. All I remember is there was a meat locker in one of the buildings, and a set of pipes in the middle of the courtyard labeled "Natural gas" "Unnatural gas" "Supernatural gas"

Attached: 1566354411962.png (466x486, 81K)

it was on a ps1 demo disk but it was like a first person dungeon crawler. really creeped me out as a kid but i remember being armed with a bow and arrow and a sword.

The second one is definitely Space Station Silicon Valley. It was on N64, dunno about other platforms. Absolute gem of a game.

an abomiation.

Could be Shadow Tower or King's Field, not enough details.

I remember an old PS1 side-scrolling shooting arcade game where you play as a flying demon who looks like Goliath from Gargoyles, but I just can't remember the name or whether or not it was in English or Japanese. Probably Japanese. Anyone can help?

holy shit it’s definitely shadow tower, videos show it was part of playstation underground volume 2 issue 4 as a demo like i remembered. thank you based user

Yep, that was the one. Thanks, anons!

Glad to help, fellow human.

When i was like fucking 8 i saw this PS2 game in a store, it had a scared bald guy reach out and i think he was behind bars. it was most definitely a horror game and i think judging from the screenshots that his spine was all fucked up or something.
can't for the life of me remember more tho.

Early-mid 2000s horror FPS where you fight zombies. All I remember is it starts off with you coming back home during the day, you get a weapon in the attic and the first zombie is a neighbor. Also there was a sewer level.
Might've been Eastern European, not sure.

The Suffering

>2D sidescroller
>one of the level(s?) was a very high tower-like black building with a bunch of rooms and stairs that you had to go down (or up?) from
>character was fairly fast i believe
I played it when i was 4 on a chinese knockoff console, but i'm pretty sure it was a real game. The thing i remember the most was the building. It might've been a james bond, because that's what it reminds me the most of.

>N64 fightan
>Rated T for Teen
>One of the characters was a clown girl
>Had a weird backwards kick attack
>One of the stages was extremely, almost eye-searingly colorful. May or may not have had a giant birthday present as a background element.

Land of the Dead: Road to Fiddlers Green.

SCARS?

It was a chess game
But all figurines were some fantasy folk in grimdark setting
And if someone gets a checkmate, the losers king would impale himself on his sword

Attached: 1549472266620.jpg (282x341, 44K)

Fighter's Destiny had a clown, but everything else doesn't fit.

Oh shit it is, thank you user

Sounds like Trap Gunner.

I remember playing a megadrive/genesis game that I borrowed from a friend. The only details I remember are that one of the characters you play as is in a wheelchair, one of the levels is set in a scrapyard or something similar? Think the game might have had a top down/isometric view. Any ideas lads?

a racing game on the n64 with some desert map with an absurdly long drop/rise

another racing game on the n64 with a bonus stage on a really colorful rainbow looking map

Some isrometric Pokemon ripoff on the PC. I only remember playing a demo of it and I think it only went up to the first gym. I downloaded the demo around the time I think stuff like Creatures and Rayman were popular

Attached: penis town.png (1089x582, 172K)

The horror game: Goosebumps Escape From Horrorland?

Battle Soccer? tohokingdom.com/vg/battle_soccer.htm

The first one sounds like Extreme G. The second one, are you actually kidding?

its not extreme G. i remember there being a lot of monster trucks.

as for the second game, no, it was specifically for doing stunts

Stunt Racer 64 maybe?

first person rpg on ps1 where you start in a cave with a waterfall and upon leaving the cave enter a medieval town where every house looks the same

A racing game on the pc, I don't remember if it was pseudo-3d or fully top-down 2d, but it had a school bus as a raceable car.

Sounds like the first King's Field.

Thanks anons, been looking for this one for quite some time.

Rush 2? It had a stunt track that sounds similar to what you mean. If not, try Rush 2049.

I don't think so, I think it had pixel art. You know, old school dithering style shading and the like.

Cool game

Atomic runner?

There was this fps
I think I played in 2007 or later
maybe even earlier
it looked like quake and half life graphically
and the only thing I remember from it is green toxic and platforming in yellow/orange environment
I think it in some kind of facility
that's all I remember about it
there's also this other game that I'm pretty sure doesn't exist on the internet
I just can't find it anywhere
you play as a fly and you move around the screen with the mouse
and you try to get to a mountain by flying to it on the main road while avoiding photo realistic bikers that drive towards you
its incredibly old and was probably made before 2000
If you guys find I'll unironically post my man boobs on B

Japanese strategy RPG. Played it on PC in 2001 or 2002 I think. No idea if it was PC exclusive or had console ports before. Something like Gemfire on Genesis/Megadrive and Warsong/Langrisser but with PS1/2 graphics.
It was in English and was on PC, not emulated.

gba game that was a platformer at sometimes, you had a gun and could shoot dogs in some levels. all i remember is it probably wasnt suitable for my age.

>Second one was some gnome hiker climbing up to the top of a snowy mountain top going through math mini-games like level the scale.
Treasure Mathstorm.

a game that i played on the ps3 it was aliens vs humans where you could pick classes like medic or engineer and had to complete objectives in order to progress and win the round.. if I remember correctly.

Forgot to mention
they're both on pc
played them on win xp if that'll help

Monster Rancher or Digimon. Those would be the only series that could be close to it.

PC game where you planned and commited robberies and took place in a town where you could freely walk around. It was a top down perspective.

Is it Space Griffon VF-9?

I think about this game often but I fear my memory is too vague to give a good description.

Something along the lines of kids with different elemental powers. I'm pretty sure it had 4 player split screen. Wolves were enemies at some point in the game. The game kept track of how many hits on a single enemy you had or combos or something of that nature. I'm pretty sure I always picked the fire character? Maybe? It had some cartoony graphics and I think it was ps2.

My main memory is while playing it at a friend's house I got a wolf stun locked in a corner by a bridge or something and managed to hit it over and over again until I maxed the combo number at 999 and we thought that was the funniest shit for some reason.

Played this when I was young. Maybe 2002-2005. It was an educational MS-DOS game. Looked something like this.

Attached: 11231.png (794x418, 22K)

MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT

What about this?

Attached: Screenshot_20190911-125348.png (1920x1080, 1.34M)

JRPG on PS or PS2
Turn-based combat
You build a combo instead of just hitting attack or magic
Lategame the combos get really crazy and unleash stronger extra effects the longer the combo is

>Math game at school in the late 90s/early 2000s
>PC game for Windows, don't know if it's available for other OS.
>Might have been a sequel to an older game that looked much older
>You are a yellow car on a race track
>A math problem is on the screen
>If you answer the problem correctly you do a lap
>Answering so many questions lets you get upgrades for your car
>I think solving the problems wrong causes you to crash?
>Math problems might give currency you spend for upgrades?

Legend of Legaia/Legaia Dual Destiny?

valkyrie profile 1 & 2

Mixed up Dual Destiny and Duel Saga, my bad.

>pc game, mid 2000's
>most likely a flash game
>you were a monkey trying to swing on vines to reach the goal, which im pretty sure was just bananas
>very physics based
>one of the last areas was a volcano type area, there were some burning vines you had to be quick on or they would drop you

Vine Time?

Game for the first PlayStation, 3D space shooter, top down camera, one level you're in a volcano flying over boiling lava and the boss had multiple phases.

Sorry if it isn't much, but i really have vague memories of this one.

Attached: Research.jpg (368x280, 145K)

Nope, it was more of a 2d sidescroller.

Check this out, maybe it's featured here.
youtube.com/watch?v=s1on9jJJgzY

i dont remember much so what im going to post here may be wrong

but is a cartoony game where you control a purple alien (?) and need to kill humans/reach the end of the stage

when you kill humans, you can gain their abilities
example: a rocker dude with a guitar shoot projectiles with the guitar
if you are desguised as human, your hp is higher
if you are not desguised, you are vunerable

when i try to remember the name of the game, it comes in my mind an acronymous word like ENZ or EZNS (E.N.Z/E.Z.N.S)
i played the demo of this game thanks to a demo disk from a magazine that my father bought when i was a kiddo

Attached: 1559859164925.png (1051x956, 280K)

Enemy Territory: Quake wars?

>What the FUCK was that game called?

>strategy game, cartoony looking, top down view, early years of this century
>you start as a command center on the Moon or some other planet
>from the command center you shoot forward other buildings, and they are connected with a leash to this center
>leashes can't overlap, if they are destroyed the building is destroyed (like power cables or some such)
>you build up a base radiating around your command center like that, and fight other players who do the same
>played a demo on some gaming magazine's CD

It's an old FPS game that has live action cutscenes. You play as some dork with glasses. You fought against demons and witches and whatnot, using magical weapons.

It was an old game that was "modeled" after Mario that was on the PC, maybe DOS? The background was all white and you were jumping over barrels and climbing ladders and it was very, very 8 bit. I wouldn't say it was a bootleg but you were playing as a very Mario looking sprite doing very Mario looking things.

Worms-like 3D videogame that took place on small planets, one faction was various monkeys and there was a flamethrower-like weapon that was a toilet tank with a hose.
I have no fucking idea what it was called.

GBA game
Isometric?
You choose multiple characters at the start
animeish artstyle
turn based?

An NES game where you're some Space Dandy in a 2d shooter ish game.

Thanks, i think it was RayCrisis.

Creature Conflict: Clan Wars, loved it as a kid.

Wanna say Xexyz.

>Xexyz
Nah your character is like Elvis if he was an astronaut or something.

Third person shoot'em up with crazy psychodelic graphics, you play as star ship that "evolves" and gains parts when you get a power up, the closest thing i can compare it to is Space Harrier, i distinctly remember a level where you're in a blue/green cave made of crystals.

yes sir, holy fuck thank you

A spooky game for ps1. It was set in the dark, maybe in the middle ages, it was in some sort of rural village setting. You had a double sided stick weapon with like square blades on the ends and you fought zombies or mummies or something. You could cut them in half. Ring any bells?

>>Creature Conflict: Clan Wars
Oh my fucking god.
I don't even know how many years I spent trying too remember what it was. Five? More?
Thank you and bless your soul.

Attached: Oribe ep39.jpg (1920x1552, 391K)

Nightmare Creatures most likely.

it’s not skyrim :(

Found it. It's called Rad Gravity

Journey to Silius comes to mind, but most likely not. Was it a side-scroller? "Space Elvis" makes me think Captain Quasar or Space Ace, but those aren't NES games.

There was a flash megaman-like game but with animals, like for example you play as a dog and the stages were themed after other nes games
Please help me anons

Oooooh, of course, how could I forget, nice.

...

Nightmare Creatures. There's been talk of a revival a while ago but not much has been said about it since though.

Attached: NightmareingameSnaps36.jpg (800x600, 113K)

I got a demo disk back in the early 90s that was a 2D sidescrolling adventure game. You could take control of two characters in different areas and manipulate puzzles together. One of the characters was a human and the other was some sort of Alien creature. It was set in space station. I don't know what it was and when i try to search it I get unrelated results.

There was that ps1 anime supposed fighting game with a very diverse cast of characters ranging from a cyber soldier, magician, schoolgirl, mercenary, female ninja, possessed sword user and witch.
Note: Just found out that its Eretzvaju.

*also a sorcerer, tomboy and a Touhou looking character.

any random flash game. i miss those days.

>PS2
>play as kid with poncho and green turban
>empty, destroyed town you had to build
>there was a catgirl i think
>qte boss in the dungeon
what the fuck did i play?

Somehow got my hands on a demo for a game on my old computer when I was a kid. It was this top down puzzle game, where you play as this purple fuzzball that's constantly jumping, & you have to guide it through the level to its babies I think? That's more or less entirely what I remember, don't even remember how old I was when it came out.

I can't recall a lot, but you were a sheep and the goal was to fuck other (female) sheep and avoiding the guard animal (think it was a dog)
it was some kind of 2D-platformer i think

the other was weird as fuck. it was top down and you tried to unlock door. your dude was wearing some green bluish suit and there were levels where you skated on ice. it also was hard as fuck for a 9 year old

Dark Cloud.

First one is Sven the Sheep.

Bio Freaks, used to play that game a lot too

For the fucking life of me I can’t remember it outside of the intro. I think it was a racing game, I think there were levels that changed drastically, and I think it involved waterparks? The intro is some blonde foreign slut and a bro in an amusement park ride (but I’m like 90% sure the game had nothing to do with amusement parks) they’re rolling along the track, inside a cave or something, they start getting real tense and holding on as the ride comes to a drop, and its fucking nothing like a six inch dip into a puddle.

Attached: 727A231A-0076-4B61-B29B-F92BDA6E6ADE.jpg (500x501, 44K)

>Sven the Sheep.
yeah exactly, thanks man

please answer me, you fucking n*ggers

Mario kart clone for the pc that used farm animals

Turn base strategy like game, you started on one island and your opponent on another. Their was base building between turns and the only way you couldn’t fight each other was by sending missiles to the other or robots, you can take control of the robots if I recall.

Also another long shot shot one, an RTS game on the pc that I think was Japanese? Or Chinese? With kamen rider like factions. Can’t remember it exactly but you had Hero units that could become OP af if levelled. The only 2 heroes I remember were for the evil faction, one of them swung around a flail or something as a range weapon and the other was some Taoist looking dude who I presume tapped his sword on the ground to do an AOE attack as his standard attack. I remember the basic unit for the evil faction we’re kamen rider mooks looking lancers and their was a fun mechanic where you had bulldozers or whatever that gave resource when you killed anything with it even your own.

It's an old educational computer game from the 90s. It was some dude you control left and right riding a red motorcycle, his suit was also red, in space. Every stop you make at anyone's place made you do a math problem

PC game from the 90s to early 2000s. Its like a megaman game but the MC reminds of the MC from mischief makers, there also some shmup aspects? I only played the demo.

Could fight each other*, based phone posting.

It was a weird low-budget polish(?) ARMA-like, tons of drivable tanks, aircraft, etc. and equipments

The only thing I can think of that sort of matches is Rama. I think it's unlikely though because the game requires sufficient notetaking and thinking to progress that means you would have remembered it (or had someone else with you solving the puzzles)

Some skating game on the ps1 with different stages. I think one of them took place at night time. Also (maybe) wierd cutscenes with people in chicken costumes doing wierd shit.

I member a game, that was like Flashback but metal as fuck and had blood. Dude had been sent to like wizard times and had a shotgun. What was that shit?

>legend of legaia
Thats it thanks user

It was a game about a blonde exsoldiers that goes around with a nigger and a hot girl with big tits. I CANT REMEMBER THE FUCKING NAAAMEEE

Attached: 1512163859587.png (367x321, 125K)

PS1 fighting game, with robotic themed characters (at least some of them), with a guy named falcon (I think)

Soldner: secret wars?

That was German but sounds like what you mean

It was a top down old school isometric RPG on PC. The combat was mostly realtime
You started in a forest with a party of 4, I remember killing some large birds like crows or something, there was a bow you could find in southern bit just sitting on the ground and a dungeon or cave up north. In the dungeon you could find a chest with goodies and you could fill the chest with stuff and put it in your inventory. There was a rest mechanic where you click on an eyeball in the corner of your screen to either 'awake' 'resting' or 'asleep'
I've been trying to find this game for years, I don't even know if it was a good game or not.

ok so im talking about the disket era, the game was edutainment and had like a shitton of medals to collect, the main character was something like a red square or purple i cant really remember. Any help anons?
Oh yeah and it was in a house and taught biology and math, both very basic stuff

BIO FREAKS?

Nope, this is a more cleaner robot theme, like yellow and red and shit

please help me I’ve been trying to find this game for years

you crash on Mars because of a mysterious shields, everyone on your team die and you have to explore the ruins to understand wtf is going on

Das it mane! thank you

N64 game with some sort of orange robot looking dude on the cover, maybe involving explosions or demolitions and vehicles

Blast Corps

Is it a more modern game? Lifeless Planet?

It's some old 2D platformer that came free on my copy of XP or Vista where you play as a small green slime man trying to save the planet from death. I think it was because of a virus? All I really remember is when you get a game over its shows everyone dead and says something along line the lines off "everyone on the planet is dead, good job"

>more modern game
nah it's pretty old, pre 2010

Zoo Race?

Blackthorne?

PS1 3D side scroller
You had a tractor beam that you used to slam enemies into the environment
One or your allies was radioactive or a human bomb
I think it had a number in the title, Either 8 or 9

Wild 9

Wild 9.

now that i think about it it was in a floppy disk and worked on windows 94
Please help, it was way too polished as a game to forget or to be imaginary

It's a turn based JRPG on the ps2 that was released in the early 2000's. I have an extremely vague memory of playing it, though I'll try to explain it as best as I can. Im pretty sure the main character is a guy, and you basically start off on a cliff side. If I remember correctly, you begin with some type of bronze sword. I'm pretty sure it had weapon durability as well. You keep on walking and then the next area is a grassy area with a path that seems to branch off.

That's where my memories of the game stop. To this day I'm not sure if it was just a dream or not. I know my description of the game is incredibly vague, though I'd like to see if you guys have come across a game like that.

Attached: 1560043078190.jpg (350x500, 23K)

forgot the name of this website that had a fair amount of browser games and they were all very 'cutesy' and i think winter themed, one of them you played a rabbit and had to climb higher and higher with timed jumps.

Sounds like one of the early apogee games

>Blackthorne
oooh hell yea! So he didn't get sent to wizard times, he's from wizard times, he just comes back with a shot gun. fuck yea.

An FPS set in WW2 where eventually you find hitler in an office, but can't kill him. Eventually you pass through a time portal and the game becomes a futuristic FPS.

I think one of the levels before the time skip had you go face to face against a panzer tank.

Oh shit, I came here to post about your first one, I think. Pretty sure it was called Otto Matic, or something like that. No one I’ve asked has ever played it.

Actually FPS or rail shooter?

nvm, found it, it was Lightbringer: Adventure on Mars but it look like it's going to be hell to find where to get it

Attached: 51C9G8DY99L.jpg (427x500, 58K)

Orisinal. The game was winterbells.

cheers, that website is so damn old but still looks clean as fuck

Soccer game with a platform gameplay, needs to save the world from an evil man and his team playing dirty. There were enemies like scorpions, goalkeepers with viking hats, etc. I think it was for the SNES or NEOGEO

Well time to go ultra hard mode
I only saw it in arcades, take place in a spooky mansion, 3DO graphics, fps, emphasis on the enemies being super creepy and I think there's only one gun.

A console rail shooter where you play as a cowboy.

CarnEvil?

Wild Guns?

PC puzzle-platformer in which you guide dinosaurs through ice age maps to escape the meltdown. The dinosaurs each had their own abilities for navigating the platforms; e.g. sauropods could extend their necks and become bridges, stegosaurus could sleep and become barracades to stop dinos from walking off cliffs, iguanadon could dig through snow walls.

star gladiator?
youtube.com/watch?v=H7j1Fk_wxHc

FPS

Sadly not. It was 3D with low res 3d graphics.

I can't remember the console, but It was probably 5th gen. Either late 90's or early 2000's. Used to play it with my late uncle with light guns and an old crt.

I don't think so, though this is so long ago that this might be the one. I remember somebody had a pair of robotic wings

Anime style Survival Horror PS1 game with tank controls. You play as one of two cops and it's not Resident Evil.

Some flash comedy sidescroller that used to be on Weebl's Stuff. It was some fantasy-type game where you play as a stubby blonde guy in a dungeon attempting to escape and getting into shenanigans. Everytime he swung his sword he'd go 'slashing slashing'.

Ballance.
You're welcome

Attached: 1538626270673.jpg (800x600, 57K)

It was a game on Armor Games. It was a 2D mmo with retro sprites, and I remember there was a spell which you could use to turn people into a crab.

It was some n64 game where you played as an orange soldier, drove around in cars and trucks, and fought aliens.

Parasite Eve 2?

Fear Effect?

>CarnEvil
eh, nope, it's very obscure, can't even find a picture of what the graphics looked like, it was that awkward period with really bad 3d modeling and image scans.

some old ass game on windows, in the first level this enemy says this phrase

"I'm gonna chop you up!"

the game was distinctively green and black.

Could you date it? 80's, 90's?

There was this game with a frog and math that was somehow fun can't remember anymore

Pc game. Year between 1996 and 2000. Played a demo of it. I cant remember shit except that it was in a weird perspective. Isometric, but you could zoom in and out. It was a rpg and one guy that joins you is an archer all in green. I remember he had a black beard and I think a facial tattoo. Pretty sure he could level up and shoot explosive tipped arrows.

Lucky Tower.

like 1995 exact may have been arcade only, standard control no light gun

Action game on the original Game Boy.
You played a robot-looking dude in an horizontal autoscroller shmup. I think his sprite was quite large and there were a lot of powerups.
I think the scrolling might have changed up to vertical some time in between, but I'm really not sure.

Oh fuck, i've got two. Both pc games, both most likely shovelware or whatever.
The first is some game with a "bookworm" where you'd spell out words and stuff.
and the other was a zombie bowling game.

frog fractions?

It's a long shot but here goes: it was made in one of Clickteam's products, I think The Games Factory, the main character was a recolored Goemon sprite from Mystical Nnja with brown hair and grey clothes. It was a platform but there were top down segments in the town where the main character lives. I remember an ice level that used music from FF7 and had the penguins from Mega Man 1 as enemies, and a level that started with you making your way to volcano and ended with you running back to the start as the volcano erupts. The first stage was about going to the store to get milk. This was a really weird game and the plot was basically just random events loosely strung together. I think Colonel Sanders lived in the hub town.

There was a turn based strategy on PC that I just can’t remember the name of.
It was tile based and you would mine the tiles for resources but eventually they would break and collapse, killing everything on the tile and removing the tile from play.
Was a pretty interesting and unique concept.

There was an fps game on the n64 i played with my cousins. In the multiplayer mode, you could play as a monster that had green vision and could see tripwire lazers that couldn't normally be seen (possibly without normal equipment).

A very vague memory coming through, it's one of my things I can remember.
>PS1
>Top down 3D strategy game.
>You control bugs or futuristic tanks (???)
>1v1/2v2 if I remember correctly.
>Only the 3D modeled square shaped ground has any color, background is pitch black.

No it was like a command line

"One of my first* things I can remember."

perhaps those two are the same game?

I also think that it's more animal based too

flash game where you were climbing a tree as a cube, it looked 3d, well as much as flash can look 3d, you could kill other cubes, and change outfits, the background changed with how high up you were

PC game, only had the demo so may not describe the game in its entirety
>FPS, maybe TPS
>PS1 or PS2 level graphics, not sure because everything looked better back then
>you were some sort of space marine force on an alien planet
>the planet had a lot of green fog, seemed a bit jungle-like, the UI may have also been scifi plutonium green
>you controlled a futuristic tank thing, but could dismount and go on foot
>you had a lot of squadmates, some in tank things like yours, you all advanced to the objective together
>the intro cutscene of that level was a crashed spaceship on an alien planet, I think the mission was about rescuing the survivors
>all of the machinery was white and orange or white and blue
>there were pickups to upgrade/change your tank thing's weapon, I remember one sounded like beatbox if you held fire

this has been bugging me for 5 years, if you know the game I'll literally track you down to suck your dick

Both way of samurai 1 and 2 have a samurai. He is a pretty big guy with a hammer and wears small glasses. Think he was called Dojima.

nes game that is top down view where you are shooting army dude. if i remember you can drive a tank and the first boss is a chopper and the last boss is on the top of a white building throwing bombs at you. on the cover there is 2 dude with beards. it have been over 20 years since i have played it but i remember playing that game over and over mostly because i had only 2 other games to play

>First-Person maze game
>Old and simple
>Played on PC
>You were on a time limit to finish each maze in a way, as you had two 'time meters'
>one was for your lantern to light up the maze
>The other was your fear/sanity, and when that one ran out you'd die
I swear I still have memories of this game that haunt me to this day but I havent been able to find it anywhere, its extremely obscure and I'm desperate to find it so I can try to play it again

Battlezone 2. It's a good game, if a bit primitive.

3D Looney Tunes platformer, played it on PC

Terracon?

Attached: Terracon.jpg (640x644, 70K)

what's wrong with wildtangent, they made FATE

first level was a jungle and you could throw grenades that were like 3x3 of your sprite.
sorry that i also cant remember the name.
i remember playing it and actually watching some rando dude play it due to somehow catching the signal of some other dude on an old black and white tv from the 60s, big dials and all.

Anyone?

fucking nice, pSX had the best grime

Soccer Kid?

2 N64 games

First one:
>you are a parasyte or something
>you can kill and control animals
>depending what animal you control you have different abilities, friends and enemies

Second one:
>alien invaded the world setting
>you are some guy in a suit
>if too many citizen die a miniboss spawns
>2nd level has 2-3 giants you cant beat i think

Unfortunately no, though something else came up in my mind. It had sort of America theme and there was a cartoon for it as well, kinda obscure though. Also you could choose between 2-3 characters, they had a blue uniform and there were upgrades for the ball as well, which you used to shoot down enemies.
